what with the price? the lg is cheaper right?

dell U2311H still best for me, angle win, calibrated colors win, warranty win, seems the hdmi doesn important 4 me, i not console player.

Jumped on the PC Fair deal and bought myself 3xU2311h ..

Is it because of the RM70 discount for each U2311H? Because the LG monitor isn't as good, even at RM575.

And then if you're buying three displays, you're aiming to enable Eyefinity? Dell's UltraSharp monitors are much more flexible in that, allowing you to use portrait mode as well, because it can swivel. Also, Dell's simple design is much better for Eyefinity.

Another thing of note. LED itself can give colour imbalance, if some its LEDs age faster than the other LEDs. This has been noted in older LED displays, like Dell's G2410 LED monitor. CCFL-based displays will give much better colour consistency.

I was already planning to buy the U2311h (x3), the pc fair just made the leap faster.

And yeah, I'm using 6950 in crossfire mode so I'm aiming for eyefinity.

You're welcome. But if you want to feel even better, try reading the aforementioned link on [H]ard|Forum. I particularly like the complaints about the stand and the bezel. Garbage, ugly, tacky, cheap.

Even if you have bought a multi-monitor stand that can allow you to do portrait mode, the LG's tacky and cheap bezel will destroy any hopes of doing portrait. Dell's simple bezel design will work in any direction.

What's the requirement to get the coupon number? It state need to sign-in in order to view the coupon number or was I saw/understand it wrongly?

You don't have to sign in.

Once you've placed the item in your cart you'll get the option to key in the coupon number (see image below)



You key in the coupon number and click apply coupon. It'll emerge alongside the RM194 instant cash redemption.

add your monitor to shopping cart
then check out
then insert the coupon number

ughhhh durr... i want to buy also....

saw the lg Ips monitor at pc fair today!
the sales man told me 10 units will be available tomorrow so if you want, have to book today by paying rm100!
note: the monitor seems better than the other lg models but something tells me the u2311h is still better!
btw....the price for the lg there was rm659!
