It depends on your settings...

Just leave it attach unless you don't mind losing some data when power down...

You can set it to hibernate, sleep, shutdown or do nothing when close the lid....

Open it,
Click "Choose what closing the lid does" on the left panel, then set it to your liking...

any nice guide to start to learn all the basic knowledge of laptop?

btw when remove battery. best if full charge or fully discharge or partially discharge?

Li-Ion just leave inside oso nvm de la.. maybe remove it when you're gaming since Li-Ion enemy is heat not the plug..
