Hey guys does your adaptor get very hot when its plugged in for a long time? Mine was actually okay, then after connecting cooling pad and using it for some time i noticed the adaptor became much hotter than normal. This was during gaming. Is this normal?
One more thing, under my computer i have 2 hard drives; OS(C:) and Data(D:). Only the C drive is being used while the D drive is empty.. What the function of it? My C drive has much less space compared to D: This post has been edited by mekboyz: Dec 6 2010, 03:18 PM |

The OS C: i think is for the system. Therefore the more space you consume the slower it is? Correct me if im wrong. The D drive is just for whatever you want. I just create my own program files there and put all the stuff in there. It's more like a external hard drive. But it's more awesome. It's in the laptop. Is this normal? of course it gets hotter... when u game, the hardware consumes more power, thus draw more power from the adapter, and the adapter needs to work harder in order to meet the demand... more power converted = more heat, that' the law of physics...One more thing, under my computer i have 2 hard drives; OS(C:) and Data(D:). C: is mainly for OS and programs, and D: is for my own stuff (MP3, videos, assignments, lecture notes, pictures, etc etc)... in such an arrangement, whenever i format my computer, i need only to fiddle with the C:, all my personal stuff are intact and will remain in the D: it's really up to u how u want to utilize the partitions... the main idea is "in case Windows is corrupted the next moment, how u want to save ur data"... QUOTE(mekboyz @ Dec 6 2010, 05:51 PM) Mine was preset already.. I dunno how to partition a hard drive actually if u use ac power. the adapter gets hot is normal isnt it?About the heat.. So i guess the combination of gaming + the extra power needed for the cooling pad fans is putting strain on the adapter.. |

Normally for Windows 7, 30GB is good enough for an OS partition.

QUOTE(reallion @ Dec 7 2010, 11:17 AM) hi guys You can just burn the recovery disc using AI Recovery Burner, but you still can't get rid the bloatware if that's your intention...or Get a Windows disc and use ABR (Activation Backup & Restore) method...
