Mine was preset already.. I dunno how to partition a hard drive  unsure.gif

About the heat.. So i guess the combination of gaming + the extra power needed for the cooling pad fans is putting strain on the adapter..
*
try magic partition software tongue.gif

Where did you see N53JQ? how much are they selling?  How about N53JF with FullHD screen? I couldn't find this model in Digitalmall PJ.

I'm deciding between N53JF & XPS15

Hi everyone,

New user for A42JC here.

Bought mine 4 days ago.. still in testing stage.

Just realized that for this new laptop, the usb ports are not very convenient.
It has 3 usb ports, one on the right, two on the left. the two are placed so close to each other that it's impossible to use both ports at the same time (if needed).

Also, the audio jack is very close to the usb ports as well. ><
At first I thought that the audio-in jack is missing, then when I read the description, it says that the audio-out n audio-in is the same one. O.O

And what if I am video-calling and need to plug in two jacks (for headphone n mic at the same time)? @@

I am also looking for the internal microphone, and I still can't find it sad.gif
Help~~
*
get usb hub if USB not enough ~~ tongue.gif

It seem like u gonna need headphone which come along with mic if since u only have one audio port ~~ mine have 2 ^^ try go lowyat and search at sri computer , there have a lot accessories ~~ ^^

the internal mic is basically just beside the webcam , it have a small hole there, mine was locate there ^^

yup, i alrd hv an old usb hub.
i think i try to use whatever i can first, and if necessary then i'll go search for the accessories.

oh, so the internal mic is there eh.. i think i see it d  tongue.gif
thanks!

*edited*
oh, and one more thing: to turn on the bluetooth n wireless is also a combined function key, isn't it? Fn + F2?
is it click Fn + F2 once to turn on wireless, twice to turn on wireless + bluetooth, and third time to off both functions?
(previously i was using my first and only laptop which is acer for ~5 yrs)
*
Fn+F2 turn on both wireless and bluetooth ~~ if u want turn off bluetooth and on wifi, simply click on bluetooth when u press Fn+F2 , then it will 'cross out' the bluetooth , same things apply for wifi~~ biggrin.gif
