QUOTE(AlexLai @ Feb 9 2011, 12:12 AM) Mine is definitely a lot slower than before... There was a time I got around 40 seconds but that requires quite a bit of maintainance really often.. Adding that I do a bit of torrent n install junks, it's probably around 1minute+ now |

Mine was and still boots in about a minute. I blame the amount of data I shift on this thing.

i think my laptop overheats alot.. it reaches 99 to 100 just now. and the whole system slows down alot..
does reformatting the laptop change the laptop's bios to the older one? This post has been edited by RedDevils88: Feb 9 2011, 04:09 AM |

Nope, its sound like the BIOS problem...
If HDD dead, it should say something like "Operating system not found".. |

Either send back to Asus or do blind-flashing BIOS (which I'm not familiar with)...

Flashing the bios itself is just under 1 minute...
The actual delay, I'm not sure, expect 1 week?.. Might as well ask to fix the wifi as well ? |
