Nope , didn't block the port because the end of the lid is slightly curved.

There's enough room for it smile.gif

Roughly , it's 1h 30mins already and I'm on disc 3 sweat.gif , altogether need 6DVDs and I only have 3 now .. lol , have do re-do again tomorrow.

No idea , the recovery burner software indicates that it needs 6 discs to complete the recovery burning.
I'll find out tomorrow what's the content in the last disc laugh.gif

Yea.. Can't think of any solutions atm.. Most of the time I use speakers or ear/headphones so it wouldn't really affect me much since it only occurs using internal speakers at max volume + eq on

The only thing I don't really like now that I've seen it is the position of the Ethernet port. doh.gif

I'll try it next time... Might be the problem also... Loudness Equalization helps amplify the sound so I turn it on as well..

Hi all! First time Asus user here!
Bought N43JF a few days ago.
Have totally no idea what programs to uninstall and stuff, first time using windows 7 as well (big leap from xp to 7, argh!)
Anything important i should do? So many Asus stuff in there ><
The only things i have done is burning recovery disks and warranty registration.

btw, the laptop's gorgeous. :-)
