the ability still the same.. but we improved in term of tactical, compact and resilience..

if anything its the thais that become worse..

Laos on the other hand has improved a lot...never seen a football third world country improved soo much..another country beside that is India's peformance in the Asian Games..

Lawan Thailand, Riedl Akan Rotasi Pemain

Kemenangan besar setengah lusin gol atas Laos, Sabtu (4/12) disambut gembira seluruh skuad Indonesia. Begitu juga yang dirasakan pelatih Tim Merah Putih, Alfred Riedl.

Namun, Riedl mengaku sempat cemas saat Indonesia agak kesulitan di awal-awal laga. "Terasa sulit saat skor pertandingan masih 0-0 dalam waktu yang cukup lama. Kami tidak banyak mendapatkan peluang," sebut Reidl.

Pada akhirnya, gol penalti Firman Utina dan sontekkan M. Ridwan yang sempat membentur bek Laos berhasil menghilangkan rasa cemas yang sempat melanda Reidl.

"Setelah tercipta 2-3 gol, kami baru menemukan bentuk permainan yang baik. Beruntung, dewi fortuna banyak memihak kami," lanjut pelatih asal Austria tersebut. "Saya simpati kepada Laos. Karena, saya pernah melatih dan memiliki banyak kawan disana."

Kemenangan tersebut memastikan Indonesia memuncaki Grup A Piala AFF 2010. Meski begitu, Reidl tetap menjanjikan akan bermain seperti biasa kala berhadapan dengan Thailand, Selasa (7/12).

It's not their professional team.

It slipped my mind that the semi-final, which will be played over 2 legs is at the respective country's stadium and NOT at the host countries of the tournament. I'm so gonna be at Bkt. Jalil if Malaysia qualifies next Tuesday.
