how much motor oil inspira is using
I heard is 5L for engine oil and 6L for auto gear oil is it true ??? |

Yup, the engine oil is 5 liters. Sad thing is for the free 2 year maintenance Proton is only giving Syntium 800 which is semi synthetic. I don't think it's advisable to service every 10,000km with semi synthetic. Anyone can clarify?

As long is not local oils should be alrite.

most likely SC using the oil from the big barrel supplied to them..not bottled ones...later on, for DIY-er, perhaps need to buy 4litre bottle+1litre bottle of Synthium1000 (Proton SC should ATLEAST use this) to accomodate the car requirements..
but then again, semi-syn should be able to withstand 10000km of usage..one more thing, hope Proton use an oil filter that can stand 10000km of usage as well, not those cheapo ones  This post has been edited by mosar: Nov 19 2010, 10:32 PM |
