Today, I ask at nearer PE again, they say that for 2.0, take 2 to 3 months. For 1.8, take 1 month.

QUOTE(nizie @ Nov 19 2010, 08:40 AM) the only point i think that is good for normal size tire is when you change to a new set of tire, you don't need to buy 2 or 4 ... but you only have to buy 1 or 3 only... Ya.. that's right. But personally, I also feel that the boot is too small. It is not so convenience for family used. I think my Wira got bigger size compare to it. Furthermore, the front grill is changed and look more "family" base compare with original lancer that is more sporty |

QUOTE(fenrir0402 @ Nov 23 2010, 09:42 AM) Hi guys, If you only have 5k downpayment, I think Saga BLM is your choice. Inspira need 10% which is 8k or 9k for downpayment.i'm currently sitting on the fence because i dunno should i go for inspira or saga blm. budget wise is saga, but i wanna buy inspira actually, but i've no idea on the performance of it, since proton have a bad reputation of it's car making history. i plan to buy a car by cny next year, so it will be january. that time i can only afford rm5k for the d'payment. any turnaround or advice on this? |

QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Nov 24 2010, 09:56 PM) Can you do us a favor? Can you do for us a detailed picture comparison as we dont have a lancer to compare and also dont have an inspira at the moment to do so. Hope you can show us how the dashboard was fitted wrongly & exposed metals in the trunk in your opinion. Thanks in advance I agreed and waiting for the comparison too I never try lancer, but personally, I think Inspira's interior fitting is ok for me. |

QUOTE(FrostLance @ Nov 24 2010, 10:37 PM) No i did not get a picture of that.. but if i have time i will do again.. "Aircond knob felt lose when turning" --> Are you tested on 1.8E version ? I notice that also, but when see the 2.0P, there is no such issue. The dashboard on the show car looks like it was assembled in a rush.. on the left near the A pillar is somewhat lower then on the right and can clearly see a gap there.. Probably QC issue during asembly as proton rush to send their cars to the show room. The Soundproofing under the hood is not the same as my housemate's 08 Lancer.. The door on the inspira sounder and feels hollow when knocked upon.. Closing the door takes some effort.. The interior of the inspira has a different colour hue.. Aircond knob felt lose when turning Feels Hollow when knocked upon.. got rattling noise in the rear left door.. Got some exposed metal parts in the trunk while on the lancer was covered Did not test drive the inspira as there were no test drive units at the time of visit. So i did not comment on anything on the ride and handling. but the show car i saw was a total dissapointment |

I just back from Proton. I ask the estimate delivery date, however, no answer yet. But, the SA mention, White color 2.0 demand very high, if want faster, can convert to Silver or Black color

QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Nov 26 2010, 02:28 AM) I agree 100%, so now with the new CEO on board, we shall see if there is any improvements, give them another 2-3 years and see the new models are of good value, design and quality or not. Me too. I buy Inspira because it similar to Lancer, a Japanese car with local accessories. Furthermore, at least I save approx 30k for tax or whatever reasons.Confession: I won't be buying this Inpsira if its not a copy of the Lancer, if Proton makes a new waja model, I will be in forte thread now. Before that, I am looking into Forte too for few months. It is actually good car and a lot of electronic stuff, however, it is under Naza. I doubt Naza have enough skill (at least until now) to rectify it if any problem. Besides, I am worried about the resell value also. Although it is too early to say that for Forte, but previous record for korean car resell value make me think twice.. |

I have good experience with Wira too. I use Proton Wira 1.3 Manual for almost 10 years (since 2001). I can say, my spending to repair the car (exclude normal lubricant service) is less then RM 2k. All the time I repair my car at outside mechanic shop.
2 x power windows (RM 100+ each) 1 x throttle ( RM 600 + ) 2 x bearing ( RM 85 each) 2 x Timing belt (RM 130+ each ) My milleage now is clocking 220,000 KM That's all. |

QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Nov 26 2010, 11:31 AM) this is specifically for bubblebee. I am Fully agreed. Always happy and don't compare. If thought that country is better, I think everyone have choice to migrate and stay there. There is no point trying to compare two very different country's setup and use it to prove your point that Proton is expensive in Malaysia than other country, we have gone past that discussion. UAE does not have income tax, so are you suggesting Malaysia should do the same just to make you happy? In fact, they are oil producing country and so are we. Why can't our oil prices be as low as them? And this will go on and on until the sun dies. Nothing in this world is FAIR right from the beginning. Count your blessings. Someone at this moment is starving, are you? Is our country that bad? Its bad because you perceive it to be so, your life your choice, go find another country that can give you all that you need, shouting in an internet forum does not make the matter better for you. You can |

I think sometime have to be fair la... The interior of Inspira and Lancer might be difference. However, difference doesn't means that the quality is bad.
The sound of "Hollow" or "Nice" also is subjective from one person to another. Also, doesn't means that it is bad quality even if it is difference from Lancer. Same as the soundproofing material. The real case is there is not enough inspira owner on the road to tell all this. It is just based on personal view. A nice looking material and with nice knocking sound car (korean or japanese) doesn't means that it can last long. My Wira, almost 10 years parking under hot sun without tinting, the dashboard still quite new. No fading sign. So, is that consider good quality ? I see my lady boss's Spectra, just approx 6-7 years old, the interior is very bad condition and color fading off. So, does it means Forte will be same fate down the road in next few years time ? No right? So, to be fair, just wait the car really OTR and let the owner comment themself. |

I call to ask again to proton. They say minimum waiting period is 2 months. It is "very lucky" if can get the car (2.0 White) at December. They will start deploy the car to customer from January onwards.
