yeah, i called both of them... ended up doing PPS smile.gif. for a couple of reasons..

1. Based on my research, the silicon over longer period actually eats into the paint.. Not sure how true, but I wasn't going to take the risk..
2. Although more expensive, as PPS requires you to go for follow up chemical wash once every 6 months - 1 year, I thought a follow up treatment will be good to ensure the protection of the car is still good and if needed they can do any repairs or touch ups.. Follow up treatments are RM 120, if I'm not mistaken.. They will chemical wash your car, clean the interior and also detail the engine bay.

Overall, I was really impressed with the final result.. It's been more than a week since I got it done and the water beading effect is still there.. Long term results have to wait and see la I guess.. smile.gif

Sad to say no bulk price from him, he replied. This will be his best price. 680 or 700 is fine with me.

you no news to me and unreliable source of information. One person word is just like a rumors.

News is news. It is official. It is up to us to take it as a fact or not. But it is official nonetheless. If they lie, it will have consequences to them.

Your style of spreading information is must come directly from the source. Seems like you don't need press/media at all as the medium.

I will opt for SG because there is no more follow up treatments, I really dont have the luxury of time and someone to help me do 6monthly maintenance. if my car over 5 years and still works well, I will always opt for new spray paint, so i think i can bear with the possibility of it eating into my paint. Up to personal choice and preference here.

i think it's based on your personal preference.. PUG owners mostly are 'glowing' their car.. SierraGlow if I'm not mistaken only recently started (about a year old). PPS has been around for 6 years and i haven't found any complaints online.. PPS in USA is giving 7 year warranty but currently ShineNShield is only offering 5 year warranty, which is an increase from the 2 year warranty given when they first started.

I went for the more proven brand although most costlier as I felt it was the best for my car especially me being lazy to wax and polish the car every time.. smile.gif

There will always be biased reporting, happening everywhere even CNN & CNBC. So you choose which channel is suitable for you beliefs then case close. For eg. Paul Tan has his own supporters, so they will take his review word for word without checking other sources. Let's not argue about news already lah, SMILE biggrin.gif its a FRIDAY people!

Ok. all news about proton is lie for you i think. Don't talk proof because you don't bring any proof that all news lie.

Rumors come from person, like you and me. Self-proud story is marketing speaks. They told the press what needs to be told. It is up to press how to write it up. But do they give the press money to write good stuff only? That is your claim. So, you need to proof that.
