yeah... I agree that playing with the clubs in M-League is not the best way to increase their skills lol....cos of their self-management is not good.

BTW, Malaysia U-20 will be up againts what...vietnam this sunday??

I'll pray for them for some good result cos SAUDI is currently the fav.

I watched their game against Vietnam (lost 1-2). I dunno what were they doing. They looked lost & too cautious, not a single, commendable attempt on goal & poor ball-handling really let themselves down. The defence kept on sending long ball forward & everytime the long balls will be cleared quite easily I must say by the Vietnamese. Instead of working the ball up through the midfield, they kept on sending long balls, as if they lack imagination on how to attack. & we controlled most of the game. The Viets got their 1st goal from a set piece & the second was .... I reckon the keeper could've dealt with it better, his eyes wasn't on the ball.

I've watched them play before & they are certainly capable of playing better. But against the Vietnamese, it was like a different team altogether. The players seemed very, very scared of making mistakes & ended up making loads of them !!! Maybe pressure is too much, but then that's what football at that level is all about.

The team only got themselves to blame.

It's not the pressure cause them play poorly. It because the team come for the tournament without six of their key players who are injured.

Anyone read Berita Harian past few days? Got news about FAM, looking for one Scotland player, wanna ask him to play for Malaysia, coz his mom/dad (dunno which one) is a Malaysian.. =.=

And today's The Star, got this Indonesia, they wanna summon their 40 young players who're playing in top Dutch clubs like Ajak and PSV.. Same thing like the above case, the players' either mom/dad is Indon.. But how true the story is? I've no idea. lol

The game against Saudi, not much difference from what you said. They prefer to play passing in their own side of the field. At the opponent side, they prefer long ball. They are good actors though, able to send one Saudi player out(red card) in fact he didnt do much. Bottom line, Malaysia got no midfield play, no one 2 one passings, not much running in front, mostly on wings. Very sad after so much spent on them.

His name is Shaun Maloney.... actually, I was pissed off becoz some of us in Malaysia already knew this guy was born n 'partly' bred in Malaysia since 2-3 years ago but FAM didn't... so it just show how FAM works.... well, kudos to the Scottish FA by including Shaun Maloney in their national team... well, its 2 times only but it is a wise move to prevent him playing for one of his parents country.... whistling.gif

Not much running, & they are afraid to take on their opponents. That's why they to the long pass. Why do that when U dun even have a sprinter on the team ? Tactics Rajagopal, tactics....

Ibrahim commented that B20 Malaysian team will remain. No plans to revoke the team. He said, its not Malaysian attitude of revoking the team right after 1st lost. -Star reports-
