maybe Golf MK 6 dont step on the pedal kao2?
how fast lar can go here, mine just got speedtrap for a mere 110 speeds. not only malaysia need a good grade of petrol/diesel. also a better speed limit. how come highway with only 90 km/h still exits. its a dual lane demmit.  doh.gif

not that racing type, but...manual all the way for me. inspira is the only manual c-segment car right?
obvious choice for manual tyranny fetish like me  nod.gif
*
duh...coz it links to a city?? like in penang, it link from sg dua to juru leh...in between, got butterworth, autocity lagi...
if u drive fast, those ppl coming out of those lane ma let u bang them mati?!

manual is fun...i had drove manual cars for erm....like over 9 years?? sure is fun...
but there's something i think about...i can't drive manual cars FOREVER....it will obsolete...
yet, i m tired of keep changing gears and keep press clutch non stop at city..especially in KL and PG peak hour time..

its 6 speed auto BTw not manual, and its a C-Segment Car not B.

the new forte FL should be using the new GDI engine ler.. may be 1.6 but its more powerful then that 1.8 inspira plus more fuel efficient.
But what to do, our local fuel is not up to par with the engine. haihz..
kinda sad la.. lots of good engines cant make it to our country.
*
no, still use same engine. even avante 2011 also use same engine as current forte 1.6
the reason of not using GDI engine is bcoz of our fuel, the new GDI engine is not optimized for RON92/95 and 97 which is populated in entire malaysia.
even current engine for 1.6 Forte also 'try to survive' the current petrol in 95/97 grades. my car still jerks at 40km/h-43km/h even i tried so many different brands of petrols RON95 or 97...
juz 1 type i nv tried b4....Shell V-Power Racing type....wish i could get that petrol, when i in KL....

1.8M? Nice buy there. More powerful then the 2.0CVT IMHO. not a big fan of CVT

last 3 days on my way back to penang from KL,
got this Red 1.8M inspira racing with white 2.0 GT.
Guess the LGT must have been jealous of the inspira lol,
i tried to follow behind. Damn the 1.8M was DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN fast ler.

the LGT was trailing behind. I couldnt keep up with the inspira on the plus highway + heavy traffic.
The LGT then was gone..i was still a few cars behind, even Golf Mk 6 kene tapao by the inspira.

im not sure if he modded the car or what, but it was damn fast. puts the LGT to shame
*
i think the LGT also think...if he follow closely behind the inspira, speedtrap sure kena inspira only, not LGT itself...coz the speedtrap camera needs the cars spaces distance from each other like around 1meter, in order to shoot another photo of speedtrap...kinda smart thinking LGT driver...
yet, i think Inspira drove fast mayb coz got something urgent on....LGT tailgating is juz to escape speedtrap...MK6 dun even bother wan to win it...

if u r not racing type, wat for u complain abt better spd limit?? u r no smarter than government. even at 110km/h, it's enuf 2 kill lots of ppl d...same goes with buses which runs at 90km/h...
but i do agree, malaysia seriously needs to get good grade of petrol/diesel....hopefully can get Euro5 or 6 type diesel and petrol, with RON99/1xx class, so can on par with the rest of the world...
if malaysia keeps on like that, i doubt they can import other cars, which requires RON99 above...

agree. i love GDi engine as well...
yea, sry misunderstood
but if compare with GDi engine, i rather get the 2.4L Koup engine...

QUOTE(FrostLance @ Jan 26 2011, 02:23 AM)
i disagree. its not speed that kills, why in germany #of accidents is low even when they have the autobahn?
Elsewehere where speed limits is higher, also the # of deaths are low?

2.i do believe for 1, that our highways are in a pretty bad shape, potholes, uneven surface, in rain sometimes got watter puddles in the middle of the road.
Not much space between the road and the central divider, small lanes, emergency lane also so narrow.  These factors do play an important role.

1.2.4L engine? not thx. We live in malaysia, where road tax is ridiculously based on CC of the car + Fuel Efficiency is worst. so higher displacement isnt always better.
*
1.but unique....1st in SG and Malaysia....hehehehe
2.nope, i guess that's not...is malaysian mindset of driving still immature....that's y mat rempit here and there..brainless immature driving habits, which only ended up death or imprisonment...
motor riding as 'superman' styles.....motor riding 'handless' styles....motor riding 'squarting' styles...motor riding 'rear legs holds accelerator and control steers' styles....
and alot more...but these are the popular ones...

Added on January 26, 2011, 1:31 amso, in order for drivers to evade them from cutting in lanes dangerously....drivers will kena accident, might ended death for more ppl too...
the road itself is not the main cause here...juz remember that...that's juz a very minor issues....

Wow. xion, u drive like that one arr? coming from the interconnection junction into highway straight go to the fast lane. no wonder malaysia got so many accident. i dunno what these kind of driver thinking. u should go into slow lane first, after gaining momentum and speed only go to the fast lane.  shakehead.gif  need to be carefull when a silver forte around, it can suddenly cut into fast lane without warning. sweat.gif

Come have a visit at plus sg Besi - Bangi highway. its 90 and w/o link here or there like penang. somemore, its 3 lane.

*
nope, i dun drive like that, but there are MANY drivers drove like that..i've seen it.
even some ppl drive fast in slow lanes too...dun tell me u nv seen it b4...i bet u do it too....like overtaking cars using slow lanes....

Added on January 26, 2011, 10:00 ami am 1 of the ppl who loves obey traffic rules....so, accident happens...the opponent tanggung lo....

R u really into sexual question?? i dun think it's allowed in here....
plz say it in proper words rather than harsh language like that in LYN..
i dun care u all r a basher for forte or inspira...each car had it's own pros and cons, there's no hating other cars
if there are hate between customers, as well KIA will not lauch Forte as well Proton will not launch Inspira as well...
I'm done with these bashing things, coz i know each car had their own pros and cons, while they are all improving 1 way or another...
y is there hatred untill said about sexual questions(e.g. d***, talk cock, balls, butt) ???

for me, both cars hv their own advantages and disadvantages...
there are no clear winners at all...if compare to 2011 1.6SX(Forte) and 2011 1.8AT(Inspira)....both assuming 6spd and conventional GB(Except premium 2.0 Inspira using CVT, stated in proton edar website), while Inspira wins at higher and more powerful engine, 1.8, yet Forte loses out at 1.6 economical engine, yet Forte wins out at safety functions a.k.a. gadget(some useful, some not useful). If compare for Style and looks, every1 had their own eyes to see and judge them themselves...If compare 2.0SX(Forte) with 2.0Premium(Inspira), Forte loses out in CVT Gearbox, while wins Inspira by higher horsepower by abit, and wins at better overall safety functions than Inspira. while Inspira wins over Forte using CVT Gearbox, and Lotus slightly tuned Handling and suspension setting, and using smaller rims than Forte(15'' vs 17''), thus acceleration better.

There's no win-win senario between these 2 cars. BUT...they sure can win over Altis, Lancer EX/GT and Civic, same goes with Vios and City in term of pricing ..

In europe, Fortes are powered in 2.4L engines...so there is much more different than current 1.6 and 2.0L engines...
