zstan: Nice moment! Love the dude's expression.

wha7ever: Don't know why you all expecting the A850/A900 firmware. It is not going to come, so do not make your buying decisions based on rumors!

I hope nobody is thinking "hmmm I want to buy A850 but wait for firmware first." There is already Lightroom 3.2/ACR 6.2/DxO 6.5 which makes fantastic noise reduction happen on ISO3200/ISO6400. If you need full-frame, there is no point waiting.

The A55 has continuous Phase Detect AF in 10 FPS mode.

mastering89: On the contrary, the A33 can shoot more frames in 7 FPS (obviously since it has more time to clear the buffer.)

shootkk: Whoa that is a mega pano!

albnok: LOL! We know it's just rumors, but people still excited to read about it. Even with new firmware, there is still hardware limitations to how much a camera can do. It's not good to wait, as the wait never ends. New technology keeps coming out all the time and I needed a cam that does video, hence I opted the A580 instead.

to be honest... how many of us really use the 3/5/7/10FPS function? i know some of use do, but how many? I rarely see and sport photographers here... or any birding photos... but even then, do they pan or do they burst is another question... or maybe both... tongue.gif

I have never used the burst mode on my a700... nor on my previous a100.

me!!!! biggrin.gif i'd wish i have higher fps than my 3.5fps then i can have a higher chance to get sharp shots in low light on my dinosaur without having to bump my iso. having said that, 5fps is more than enough.

gjtan: You screw that part wrongly. You should turn it to the opposite direction, the circle part should be far away from the grip. When you hold the camera, the circle part should be at the bottom most, not in between your fingers (when using vertical grip)!
