destfull : for me the pics too contrasty, or its just my laptop sweat.gif . try make it vintage look would look nice. also to me, if i have to use high ISO, i'll shoot in B&W. less thing to be considered nod.gif . if u rajin editing just shoot in RAW biggrin.gif

evilhomura89 : my advise, only buy the body(+/-) lens only. dont take extra accessories unless stated in package (bags/tripod). the extra things usually the kedai will tipu u kaw kaw (filters, cleaning tools). nod.gif . my first time bought dslr the towkey tipu me say cpl is better than UV, charge me damn expensive, i never cabut the cpl for few months, only to know that dont use cpl in dark sweat.gif

evilhomura89 : congrats . alah the cap only rm15-20 iinm. rclxms.gif

yuhi : nice place and pics there. where is it btw??

here i wanna confess, i got myself an old lens, the Sigma 28mm f/1.8 Aspherical II blush.gif (link). damn cheap , so i have to endure this problems, seriously prone to flare, got little fungus and i think the aperture blade is sticky or something sad.gif . When i on my camera, the aperture should open to wide (if i previously set f/1.8), but sometimes i can see the aperture doesnt open.... but can fix by changing the aperture while holding to the DoF preview button, no problem (yet?) . flaring is not much problem for me ,just it kacau the AF sometimes , but it brings out lovely color nod.gif . the out put is sharp even at f/1.8, but after f/8 like that not so much dunno why sad.gif

so here sample spam :
most at f/1.8, no pp done. see how the flare on #3 & #4 .

by the way, 85mm f/2.8 has been reviewed over the internet.. sharpness not to my expectations though... if price is on par with sp90, i'd go for the tamron..

anyone know how to make this kind of video?

*
i read this one somewher. the user use a camera (Casio High Speed EXILIM EX-FH20) with a very high fps recording capability (210fps) and then playback in normal 30fps. thats why become like dat. nod.gif
(http://www.petapixel.com/2010/11/25/slow-m...t-from-a-train/)

QUOTE
In all my slow-motion work so far, I’ve used a static camera to capture a high-speed event. But, I wondered, what would happen if the camera was the fast-moving object? For instance, if you use a 210fps camera at 35mph, on playback at 30fps it’ll seem to the observer that they’re moving at walking pace- but everything observed will be operating at 1/7th speed.

What I’d hoped to do was film the people on a railway platform from a train as it blasted past, but since the places they don’t stop at tend not to be listed in the timetables, this would be hard to co-ordinate. I figured that being at the very front of a fast train as it approached a stop would suffice; although the ‘frozen in time’ effect is less pronounced towards the end of the video, the platforms at non-stops tended to be mostly empty, so there’d be less to capture anyway. Helpfully, people don’t seem to move too much as their train arrives!

damn this Casio High Speed EXILIM EX-FH20: shocking.gif (link)
-shutter speed range from 30sec to 1/40000s
-full resolution 9mp can take around 1fps
-at 8mp can take 30fps
-7mp = 40fps OMG doh.gif
-video can take at 30fps (good quality), 210fps (lesser quality), 1000fps (least quality)
