a fanboy's joker's answer will always kena shoot ma... tongue.gif

Actually, ive always wanted to ask (if i havent already asked), why each of you guys here chose Alpha?

for me, it was because my friend (who upgraded to a d300) used to have the a200... so normal peer influence kicked in.
Then when i got to know the DSLR community, Sony's thread here is 90% of the time very friendly and helpful (not to say others arent).

And also, the fact that quite a number of people put down sony makes me want to prove them wrong. smile.gif

i was attracted by NEX at first, it looked sleek n sexy to me..then i thought, why not since i don't own a camera yet and photography is something i would like to pursue as hobby
then a friend of mine who owns a C, told me everything about basic photography, i got interested and started reading/researching on DSLRs
people around me are either C or N, except for a guy who owns an a200 but he's using it for better quality pictures and not really into gears or serious photgraphy
i think a33/55 and a560/580 was announced shortly after that (i was very impressed with the spec) and lots of review for a33/55 came out and i was quite attracted by the results
in the end, i guess it's the competitive pricing of sony's camera that won me over

Although for me Sony is intended to be cheap alternative lens with good optics but in some sense Sony really late to release it's top rival.

There's is the reason, because not much people in through the Sony system yet so they keep pushing their entry-level line up instead of semi-pro.

So people who compare it with those "updated semi-pro" C and N products is usual.

i'd say, if you included more lower part of the shot in... but same thing, give it a couple of seconds exposure to have a bit of human motion... that'll be more complete i guess, coz now the lights are too dominating. not much anchor point, but awesome lights nonetheless
