Haiz, i jus bought sony a55 with 18-55 kit lens on saturday, after 1 day usage, the LCD spoilt, the LCD got light but could not display but the EVF is working fine. Now sending to warranty, really sad T_T

yeah, mine is really rare case, i search thru the web, i dun see any other a55 experience this b4, hopefully can get back asap >"<

haiz, this is because i am buying at a small shop, the price is quite attractive. he does not have the stock.

the shop offer RM2300 while others all offer RM2450-RM2499.
RM2300 for a55 with 18-55 kit lens, free 8gb memory card and bag. Is it cheap ?
Actually not that attractive, it is just cheaper, but now not attractive anymore coz got problem. T_T

i would suggest 50 f/1.8 SAM since u r using a33...  y worry bout full frame so early...  furthermore got SAM inside.....

get a spare batt if can...  soon there will b a lot of 3rd decoded batt around...  non decoded can only use on NEX...

my friend 75-300 last week report to me got fungus, what he did is left the lens about 6 month inside another spare bag. 6 month only.

the issue is when u need to store (or forgotten) a lens for a long time... fungus grow really fast when the "requirement" is right.

the 7 fps gives me goosebumps to listen to and the video is an added bonus.. wonder what the situation with the sensor heating is... read in a couple of places that the A580 sensor overheat in video mode... haven't had any proper reviews on the cam yet.. only freaking previews

chiahau - the A55 claims 10 fps but its buffer is not up to the job ... starts slowing down in less than 2 seconds...

The A580 has a lot more stamina compared to that... and also it does not feel like a toy... i really want to like the A55... i i do... but sony should have done a better job to make it more like an DSLR... it feels too ... toyish... i guess.. I hope the Rumors about the new A77 are true... an SLT Lens cam for more serious photographers

NEX is still Alpha... 

but to answer ur question....

Alphas are DSLR and DSLT (a33,a55) and NEX are EVIL systems (except VG10 of course).
NEX uses E-mount and Alpha uses A-mount.
And i think the other points are self explanatory.

how is the DSLTs like NEX?
