QUOTE Added on November 14, 2010, 12:37 pm The SGP Crystal Clear is thin compared to the Oleophobic SP. It get scratch faster compared to Oleophobic. Also, removing Oil & Fingerprints easier for Oleophobic. I've the crystal clear 1st then changed to Oleophobic and never will go back to crystal clear again. Am very happy with Oleo! I have an extra piece of new Power Support Crystal Clear, thinking if I should keep it or sell it off though.

I started with a Power Support Matte SP but it was damaged while trying a slider case. Now I am happy with SGP Crystal Clear SP.

Went back and checked out the drop test video conducted by some advertising company, and realize how stupid it is to break an iPhone 4 just to prove that it's destructible. No, two iPhone 4. One with and without bumper. Did Apple ever say that it's indestructible? Such a thin phone will definitely crack when you drop the glass (not the stainless steel band) onto a concrete, regardless of what casing are you using. Just don't drop it and all the stupid drop test become pointless.
I wonder why those people didn't test on a laptop? Idiots. http://www.iphonehacks.com/2010/07/iphone-...umper-case.html P/S: I owned a 3GS for slightly more than a year, and I never dropped it. This post has been edited by fuiyo: Nov 14 2010, 03:18 PM |

i dont know whether this applies to all casing, but dusk seems to be collected at the silent toggle button there when i use the apple bumper. cos i think the bumper is kinda thick. but im glad all the buttons are quite easily pressed.

No matter what cases you use, it'll collect more dusts and dirts compared to naked phone.

QUOTE(llsphinxll @ Nov 13 2010, 10:56 PM) ![]() have been using the apple original bumper for more than a week now. my review? pros: - you can feel the thinness of the phone - doesnt add extra weight or size to the phone - does give the phone enough protection (if you have a front and rear protector applied) cons: - quite expensive considering how there are no SP or etc included in the packaging - when in the pocket, you will now know which side is front of back - think this applies to all bumpers. overall, quite happy with the bumper. looking to try out glam rocka from more-thing. |

QUOTE(Redundant @ Nov 14 2010, 07:48 PM) Yes. No issues at all. Except those CAPDASE USB Cables with fatter and bigger head. Cheers!Added on November 14, 2010, 7:58 pm QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Nov 14 2010, 06:31 PM) i using the OEM bumper case bought at RM30 only.....i feel it not much different with the original one , so IMO , for those who can't claim the bumper case for free anymore , just get the OEM bumper , save u alot money It does make a lot different getting the SGP Hybrid Neo EX that comes with front and back SPs.It looked much nicer and price wise almost the same as what you've spent. Maybe a bit more (not much). Don't get me wrong... Your advice is correct. But you should try the power on button and the volume buttons on the SGP Hybrid Neo EX. It felt much better and very good protection overall compared to the OEM bumper case. Cheers! This post has been edited by S4a: Nov 14 2010, 07:58 PM |

QUOTE(vincentlaw @ Nov 14 2010, 01:54 PM) oo thx for sharing ur experience... haha i'm in dilemma whether to get oleo or just use the crytal clear which come together with SGP neo hybrid ex casing... hmmm power support SP is good, but i don't see how it is "better" than SGPAdded on November 14, 2010, 2:06 pm haha thinking the same... but not sure is it worth or not.. i've read alot and i saw ppl said powersupport screen protector are better than SGP.. wondering.... any input guys? Added on November 14, 2010, 2:07 pm http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=174&t=1635112 gogogo this link and vote which SGP protector u all like and feel good!! need more input/comment... both are crystal clear, both doesn't rainbow, both does not reduce the brightness on the screen, both have good adhesive that doesn't leave residue, both are precision cut, both films are flat and installs 100% flat and bubble free. so what was better about power support? i tested both side by side. both clear version. if you want the crystal clear one, buy the power support, it is cheaper than SGP. the oleophobic is simply the clear SP with an oil resistant coating. it is as clear as the SGP ultra crystal and power support crystal screen. obviously if i compare power support anti glare vs SGP ultra clear.. the SGP will have better optical clarity. if oil doesnt bother you or your face not oily, then just get the crystal clear version. |

Note that the edges of the OEM bumper are rougher compared to the original one. I bought all OEM bumpers (except for the green and pink) yet I still settle down with an original black bumper, and abandoned the rest. The moment you tried an original bumper, you will easily feel that the OEM one is less premium.P/S: Do not think that a RM25 bumper has the same quality as a RM40 one. Some cheaper bumpers are rougher, and the cuttings are less precise, though they claimed that they get stock from the same supplier. You can easily find an original bumper in the forum for around RM80-90, but not for RM129. A bumper only costs $29. This post has been edited by fuiyo: Nov 14 2010, 09:20 PM |

QUOTE(uncle wong @ Nov 15 2010, 12:10 AM) An iPhone 4 doesn't know how to wear a bumper nor case, you wear it. And please, the reception problem isn't an issue. A reasonable iPhone 4 user would know how to answer to your question. |
