Hey guys I have an SGP ultra crystal protector, but my iPhone might be faulty, so I may have to get a replacement. Can I peel it off and use it on another unit later? The thing isn't cheap. Or will apple willingly give me a new one? Doubt they are that good.
*
Yes u can peel it off and stick it onto a clean & clear plastic or glass. Reuse it when ur replacement is ready.

I'm currently using bubble case for my iphone which i love cos it's really thin looking and protect well, imo.  I'm thinking of getting a cheap flip case for double protection especially from dirt/oil when eating out.

I think my iphone can fit into a flip case (hopefully) but will it generate more heat due to the double case? Or are there any other suggestions?

Well, I bought my wife the SGP Valencia Case and it's perfect for her. Especially when she chuck her phone into her handbag with you know what women have in their handbag. Easy to clean the soft smooth leather when it gets dirty. If u don't like the crystal floral design, u can go with the SGP Argos Leather Case.

please go vote if u related to you

btw what is the different between SGP ultra crystal screen protector vs SGP ultra oleophobic.. the pro/con, compare/contrast between this 2 with own experience....
*
The SGP Crystal Clear is thin compared to the Oleophobic SP. It get scratch faster compared to Oleophobic. Also, removing Oil & Fingerprints easier for Oleophobic. I've the crystal clear 1st then changed to Oleophobic and never will go back to crystal clear again. Am very happy with Oleo!

No matter what cases you use, it'll collect more dusts and dirts compared to naked phone.

i using the OEM bumper case bought at RM30 only.....i feel it not much different with the original one , so IMO , for those who can't claim the bumper case for free anymore , just get the OEM bumper , save u alot money  rclxms.gif  , extra money can get better screen protector better than spending on ORIGINAL bumper.... smile.gif
*
It does make a lot different getting the SGP Hybrid Neo EX that comes with front and back SPs.
It looked much nicer and price wise almost the same as what you've spent. Maybe a bit more (not much).
Don't get me wrong... Your advice is correct. But you should try the power on button and the volume buttons on the SGP Hybrid Neo EX.
It felt much better and very good protection overall compared to the OEM bumper case. Cheers!

Wat happen if our Iphone 4 dun wear bumper or a case ? Just imagine walking and driving a car in the middle of the highway. if you are a careful person, naked feels better compared to a cased phone.
Reception problem ? A little noticeable. But not as overly exaggerated to what the US are facing with AT&T. Maxis is doing a very good job providing a solid and stable signal. I used it for almost 2 months without any cases on till I received my Vapor Case a week ago.

or probably get an invisible shield... not so much bulky feel... but protects 100%..
*
Never ever will touch or even think about it. The invisible shield is the worst product I've ever invested.
It's sticky and will trap lots of dirts and dusts at the edges. Will turn yellowish after short period of time.
Also, it'll peels and holding the phone is very uncomfortable and it cuts your skin due to the thickness of the film.
Sorry, I'd not recommend it to anyone.

Go search in the Garage Sales section or order it from the web like eBay. Cheers!

Here's my ELEMENT Case - Satin Nickel (Extreme Metal)

Review:
- Very nice finishing (smooth and feels comfortable holding the phone)
- Looked very Hi-Tech Robot looks.
- Make the phone slightly larger but looked better than naked. (It's the only case that will make the iP4 looked even better)
- Can't use any 3rd party USB cable but only the Original Apple USB Cable.
- Headphone Jack required sizes as per the original headphones. Will need extension adapter to use it if not using the original headsets.
- About the reception issue, it does decrease a lil' but after I did the fix to it with Vinyl Electrical Tape (as per attached picture), it's in fact, improved the signal than with a case or with my SGP Hybrid Neo EX bumper case on. Seriously. (I did a test with another iP4 side-by-side). Not only the signal strength but also the GPS receptions as well. Every Vapor Case owners should do this fix!!!
- Personally, I like holding the phone with the Vapor case compared to any other case. Gripping it is superb when playing games and taking pictures.
- The form and design is perfect. especially the mute and volume buttons area. It avoid getting the buttons and mute slider accidentally switched or pressed.
- Only issue with the Satin Nickel type is it's not suitable for those with sweaty palms. It's tarnish quite easily. The tarnish stain will appear in a day or two. But I liked it personally as it does create a used or rugged looks to it.
- For those who like it shinny and clean will need to clean it with Nickel Tarnish Removal every week or less to renew the looks.
- Overall, I'll not use any other cases to-date available unless there are even better design introduced.
- Pricey, but worth the money I spent. Seriously. (For those who change cases a lot, you already can afford this anytime).

@S4a.. nice personal review... wondering how much u get it?? i'm abit confused with the electrical tape thg. So SGP neo hybrid ex dont need this fix right?
Thanks! I got it for around RM5xx together with the Vapor Carbon Fibre Backplate + Shipping cost and Credit Card charges included. No, SGP Hybrid Neo EX is already using the silicone/rubber bumper. So, there's no need to do this fix. Unless you are using metal casing like the Vapor or Atomic Cases only. Cheers!

nice! im looking for one of these myself. 5xx?  shocking.gif kind of expensive just for a cover. but it cud be a one time thing. would be great if you could post picture of the back? and is it heavy? it does look abit bulky.
*
Yes, it'll be a one time thingy as you've said it.
It's feather light weight. Very-very light in fact.
Slightly bulky, but you'll care less once installed.
It looked so beautiful and it gives you a better grip to the phone too.
I've attached the picture of the back... But, I'm very indecisive in either to stick with my existing SGP - Skin Guard (Black Leather) or the ELEMENT CASE - V4 Carbon (Carbon Fibre) backplate??? What do you guys think? Which one looked better?

Thanks guys! I quite like the SGP Skin Guard Black Leather Backplate. But it tends to shrink from the perfect fit when 1st applied. Now it shrinks almost 1mm smaller, and that's why it doesn't look that good anymore. I've emailed SGP direct to lodge a complaint about their product and insisted them to replace a new set. I'll go with V4 Carbon now. Thanks again!

For those of you who don't want to travel all the way to MacStudio at Low Yat Plaza to get SGP cases, you can get them in MacStudio at Bangsar Shopping Complex at 1st floor. I went there and got myself an iPod Touch case for my baby girl just now. They've got plenty of NEW stocks. Worth checking out. Cheers!

Hello S4a , will the carbon Fibre Backplate scratch or break easily ?  hmm.gif
*
You'll get light scratches but it'll not break. But you can always polish it with car polish to remove scratches.

SGP Neo Hybrid EX Gunmetal .. I just got them ..
My problem is , my power button tend to get stuck ..
I already reinstalled it like 3 times ..
And it still get stuck if i use abit more strength ..
Maybe the way i installed it wrongly ? S4a can teach ? Since i know
u got them , did urs tend to stuck ?? BEcause when mind get stuck then it sorta hold the power button , then the power off screen will come out =.=
*
Mine was perfect. You need to slot in the phone angled top first. Then only slowly and gently slot in the bottom. Make sure all the buttons (power & volume) are perfectly inserted. I install my phone with both polycarbonate frame and the inner silicone together at the same time. Try it and let me know... Cheers!

I don't think the mod will delete it, if you post something that you are not selling here. Just sharing info with others.
Anyway, here: http://www.boxwave.com/products/keyboardbu...y-case_3968.htm
