That's not conky. It's dzen2 (with conky-cli piped) piped into the scrotbar. quite complicated, and a bit dirty-hackish. I posted a tutorial for it in the #! forums;

Yeah, G-17 is the famous Gutterslob. Considered the resident Scrotwm and all other Tiling-WM guru.

G-17, you still active on those forums?

That's just one of my nicks, though. Gutterslob is basically my "vanity-fair" nick, created just for screenshots, GTK + Openbox themes and other "aesthetic" related postage. My other nicks on various forums (which I'll keep secret for now) are more for dev or admin work (Debian) or package maintenance (AUR).
Let's just say I like to keep different identities brows.gif .... Part of the reason is because if you post as a mod or admin or senior member, some other members might feel apprehensive, so it's good to have a regular-user nick here and there.

@zai
I thought you already knew, since I use the same nick in #Lowyat-FOSS@freenode wink.gif

@farkinid
Yeah, I'm still (somewhat) active as Gutterslob over at #! forums and various IRC channels. Stalk me, baby!! laugh.gif

Btw;
Gaaahhh ... my internet's slow (except for this forum). I just had to pick the wrong day to come back to J.B
Can't even connect to my photo lab to upload images for printing!! cry.gif

Now you know why Linux hasn't gained much market share on the desktop  over the last few years. It's because everyone is busy modding instead of doing actual work. laugh.gif
I'm just editing my vim colorscheme, along with some other nonsense.
Just killing time cos it's Saturday and I'm bored at home instead of partying out somewhere. T_T

Add this to your ~/.ncmpcpp/config
CODE
progressbar_look = "─╼─"

Note: it only displays correctly on Urxvt or Xterm.

Nope. Border is specified in my conky config.

Just spamming, cos I'm stuck in a cafe waiting for a client to arrive >_>

Hmm , ive specified border but the border is too thin and it draws border all over my conky , not just the bottom shocking.gif

There's a trick to it. You need to play with gap_x, gap_y, border_width, minimum_size, and use the voffset variable in your conky config. My conky actually has borders all around, but I use voffset to push it up a bit, and my minimum size/width is set a few pixels larger than my total screen width, and I alignment center. It gives the effect of a border at the bottom cos the other 3 corners are hidden. tongue.gif ... need to play around a bit to get it right.

here's my config: http://pastebin.com/93Z9wFQd
Keep in mind that this is for a 1024x600 netbook screen. You'll have to adjust the size accordingly for your width
(Note: the conky is actually 1 line ... dunno why the pastebin sites all separate it like that)

Hope this helps.

Sorry, I'm still at work.
Can you start evilwm or not? ... or isit starting but not recognizing your ~/.evilwmrc only.

my ~./evilwmrc
CODE
term urxvtc
mask1 mod4
mask2 mod1
altmask shift
fn lime:pixelsize=8
snap 8
bw 2
fg #cccccc
fc #6699cc
bg #999999
#dock dzen2

Very simple, right?! =P Told you it's the most minimal WM ever.
Put it in HOME as a dotfile.

In your xinitrc, make sure you have a "exec evilwm"at the end. if that doesn't work, replace it with "/usr/bin/evilwm".
