P67 and H67 abandon DrMos? hmm.gif
*
No la Bro.

To maintain the low price of budget models, DrMos will not be featured in.

However Mid and High End models (e.g. P67A-GD65, P67A-GD55, P67A-GD53, H67MA-ED55) do feature DrMos in the PWM area.

The letter "D" actually implies DrMos chip on the motherboard.

Hope this will help to identify the features in our motheboard.

Thank you.

haha. Didn't that the D at those mobo's symbolises DrMos. I thought since BB Marshal no DrMos, so the rest of the new lineup don't have it.

Based on the pictures, Big Bang Marshal don't have any DrMos hmm.gif
but after googling more info about it, then only I realized that there is 24 DrMos VRMs. But I still missed the old design that inscribe the "DrMos" word beside the CPU.

Dear TechnoG,

Big Bang is the highest range of our motherboard model. Definitely the best feature will be featured inside.

If I have any problems with my MSI graphic card, can I send it straight to MSI rep office to claim warranty?

Just curious.

nanomugen: The P67A-GD55 is actually same as P67A-GD65 minus the features. They are actually using the same bios. So i believe if P67A-GD65 is good, then P67A-GD55 is good as well, of course, in regards to the review posted by fr0sti3. This is what my fellow OverClocker did, which i deeply believe P67A-GD55 can make it as well. Too bad i don't have one to test.

MSI SOP for Intel ME FirmWare through BIOS

Recently Intel has just updated their Intel ME FirmWare from version 1141 to 1164. Therefore, MSI came out with a new BIOS package for its Sandy Bridge Platform linking both BIOS and Intel ME FireWare update. This however needed to be done through DOS Flashing. The easier method through MSI M-Flash function could only update the BIOS while not the Intel ME FirmWare. If updating system BIOS without updating the Intel ME FirmWare, it may cause the system become unstable.

Now MSI linked both ME toll + ME FirmWare with BIOS AMI Tool into a .bat file in their Mainpage BIOS Download. Included is the Flashing SOP/Guide for the whole process of updating BIOS and Intel ME FirmWare.

List of Mainboards with Intel ME FirmWare Update Included in BIOS Download Page:
1. MSI P67A-GD65
2. MSI P67A-GD55
3. MSI P67A-GD53
4. MSI P67A-C45
5. MSI P67A-C43
6. MSI P67S-C43

owikh84: i have contacted MSI to contact you through PM. cheers.
nanomugen: Download the BIOS file. Then refer to the link below to create a Bootable USB. Then unzip downloaded BIOS file it to the Bootable USB. After that boot the USB and in DOS, just type "7681v17" and it will automatically update. After this if you want to update MSI Board BIOS, you can just go through M-Flash.
