w00ts! add me to the list, using Big Bang Fuzion! unfinished rig. Added on November 12, 2010, 9:29 amuumm. I was wondering is it possible to add a GTX 460 with my current HD6870? there was a "Graphic Compability Chart" that comes with the mobo, and it stated that some AMD GPU is not compatible with some Nvidia GPU, so I was wondering GTX 460 and HD6870 okeyh? QUOTE(MSI-MY @ Nov 12 2010, 10:30 AM) I would say it's possible as we still can see AMD 5 series to be compatible with the 2 series as well, and also AMD 4 series with Nvidia 4 series. But for the time being, we will have to wait for the Lucid to release a new drivers in near time. thanks for enlightening me I think I'll just stick to dual AMD GPUs first, but it'll be a waste since it's meant for both Nvidia and AMD uumm. Probably when will the new Lucid drivers be released?

QUOTE(8tvt @ Nov 12 2010, 03:45 PM) is the performance ok now? coz last time setup with mixed gpu not as good as CF or SLI solely.. 25% performance boost for Nvidia 33% performance boost AMD 15% performance boost for both Nvidia and AMD To you, it might be a pretty low performance increase, but I assume this new technology will get better. wait for the new drivers

QUOTE(8tvt @ Nov 12 2010, 04:09 PM) i believe if to proceed purchasing such rare mobo in it's class and pricing.. would consider mixing the gpus.. just that mixing them not producing a significant performance.. if choosing to CF or SLI for better performance.. it just wise to buy a normal CF, SLI mobo only.. if mix the the gpus.. how's the physix eh? To me, PhysX is crap. More like a marketing gimmick. I think I'll stick to another HD6870 instead of getting GTX 460 I didn't purchase this mobo, won it from MSI

QUOTE(MSI-MY @ Nov 13 2010, 02:59 PM) LOL, oh.. from MSI Dota Tournament? Your rig sounds interesting to me.. How was the 6870? Didn't get to play much with the 6870 sample. Sigh.. My rig yet to be fully assembled completely, busy with other commitments. tried my buddie's 6870, MSI Afterburner I didn't win it from the MSI Dota Tournamet. Got it from the Military Q&A thingy, suppose to get the HD5770 HAWK, but they don't have stock for it. So yeahh, upgraded it to Big Bang Fuzion This post has been edited by TechnoG: Nov 14 2010, 06:59 PM

QUOTE(Sanko @ Dec 1 2010, 02:06 AM) TechnoG: yeah... it's my fault. cause i'm not a gamer. and by the time i know that the game is not stressing, it was already the day before the event starts. i couldn't make any changes anymore other than changing the graphic card. initially we planned to showcase the MSI N480GTX Lightning. about the monitor, no idea actually. all i know it's an 27 inch Viewsonic loaned by Viewnet, the Official PC Reseller for the event. hehe.. awww. I would rather love see the GTX 480 Lightning in action instead 27 inch? looks more like a 21.5 incher eh, you're one of MSI staff?

I was wondering if a V6GT/Ninja 3 can fit into Big Bang Fuzion? there is the DrMos thingy that is surrounding the CPU socket, and since V6GT is pretty low, will it be hitting the DrMos thingy?

QUOTE(Sanko @ Dec 9 2010, 01:16 PM) hrmm... i have both the Big Bang Fuzion and Ninja 3. But my Big Bang Fuzion is attached to Grand Kama Cross while the Ninja 3 is used as my Benching Heatsink. if got time i'll help you to test it out. wokay. Really appreciate your help. And I plan to add in Corsair Dominator RAM + the fans, will it be clashing again? Added on December 9, 2010, 2:35 pmQUOTE(ralph9898 @ Dec 9 2010, 01:55 PM) HAHA. Bingo, that's what I need thanks alot dude! now waiting to see if it fits Ninja 3. Both of this, don't really know which one to get. But I'm leaning towards V6GT, the blue strip of light at the HSF will match my HSF perfectly. This post has been edited by TechnoG: Dec 9 2010, 02:35 PM

QUOTE(MSI-MY @ Jan 5 2011, 10:34 AM) No la Bro. To maintain the low price of budget models, DrMos will not be featured in. However Mid and High End models (e.g. P67A-G D65, P67A-G D55, P67A-G D53, H67MA-E D55) do feature DrMos in the PWM area. The letter " D" actually implies DrMos chip on the motherboard. Hope this will help to identify the features in our motheboard. Thank you. haha. Didn't that the D at those mobo's symbolises DrMos. I thought since BB Marshal no DrMos, so the rest of the new lineup don't have it. Based on the pictures, Big Bang Marshal don't have any DrMos but after googling more info about it, then only I realized that there is 24 DrMos VRMs. But I still missed the old design that inscribe the "DrMos" word beside the CPU.

QUOTE(babyalex95 @ Feb 2 2011, 12:20 AM) What is the official price for MSI HD6850 Cyclone Power Edition http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1714540 ... Looks good and promising.. Do you think CoolerMaster Elite 400W is enough to feed it?.. I am asking this on behalf of my friend.. not sure about the SRP, but it's selling around RM620+- @ LYN MSI HD6860 Cyclone peak power is around 144W, and I believe CM Elite 400W continuous output is 276W yea? so it should be fine.
