Just found out that even Asus boards have fluctuating BCLK. But Asus boards features less Vdroop over the Vcore.
*
not really.. even last time i tested the crosshair4extreme (most exp asus AMD mobo) , vcore fluctuate quite alot but still acceptable..

and MSI z68 gd80 u can say the vcore not fluctuate at all..depends on model i think..

@chaics85
gd65 user here

unlocking shud be no problem. tested 555BE, sempron140 and 145 all unlocked with no problem

in overclocking, for speed wise, it perform just nice. as i dont really try other 990FX model, so i donno how good it is compare to others. but the clock as good as i expected.

the problem is on the vcore. when stressing the CPU, the load vcore will be quite high. (note that to stress 100% with stressing tool, gaming,rendering etc wont be any problem )
hope MSI can fix this soon.

good thing is with PSC ram, it beats sabertooth in ram clocking.

hi.. thanks for the input..

may i know wat ram are you using with that mobo?? is it true that we cant use 1600mhz rams on am3 proc eg. phenomx2 555 even though the mobo supports 1600mhz rams by default..
*
im using gskill eco and ripjawx red 2133
both running fine with 1100T. i can get it boot with 200Mhz or ram speed..but not stable enough.i think its my ram limit under the setup.

will run some test using 555BE if i have time..see what i can do.
what ram u using?

@chaics85
i think i get what hes trying to say.

for most motherboards , any ram u insert.. either value ram or a very expensive high performance ram, the default clock will be 1333Mhz.
but not that the ram cant go higher.

u can just set the ram divider at BIOS to 1600MHz as AM3 processor has divider up to 1600MHz. the action (Set divider to 1600) is considered OC.

for the gskill eco, its 1600. the ripjawX is 2133.

Hi all,

I just purchased MSI GTX 570 Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC, and i noticed in GPU-Z info the memory is only 1000Mhz,but i read in the MSI website it should be
4000Mhz. Do i read it wrongly or else?
Here's the screenshot of my GPU-Z.

Thanks.
*
i donno is ths the correct way of calculating but the GPUZ showing the right figure

if gddr5.. ur 1000mhz must be X4 to get the effective clock
if gddr4 times 3.. gddr3 times 2.

hey guys, I've gotten some artifacts while using my MSI GTX 570. But the problem is like an on and off thing, sometimes I do get it, sometimes I don't.
do I need to RMA it? hmm.gif

Is that on default setting? like unstable mem oc to me.
correct me if im wrong.
