on desktops it's abt 10-15mins...
juz nice for u to save and switch off the computer... so expect double the time or more on a laptop... |

I dont think its true la.. I used my laptop for 1 year, always plug to AC with battery attached. The battery life never degraded.

honestly i never trust those system monitoring programs from the makers themselves...
more often than not, they are overly simple and dun provide much useful data... u'll be surprise when u use third party programs like HWMonitor and BatteryCare... this one's from my 1.5yr old laptop... yup, only 1% wear after 18 mths of using... this is the result of removing the battery religiously whenever i use AC power... 4hrs is not a big problem when i am on Asus Power4Gear Battery Saving Mode... with C2D T9550 and HD4650...
