yesterday's game was awful in my opinion. United doesn't seems to get a goal at all in first 60 minutes. but it was a great comeback from the team, another dropped point, hopefully both of them drop point as well.

At one point, our stats for shot on goal and corners was awful. Something like 6 corners for Villa, none for us This post has been edited by alien2003: Nov 14 2010, 08:53 PM |

We won the last 10 minutes of the match while Aston Villa won the remaining 80 minutes.

QUOTE(dlct87 @ Nov 14 2010, 08:33 PM) everyone wants their team to play at their best possible form for every matches, but then again, as a fan, besides hope and support the team, what else can we do? we criticize the team also because we hope that they will improve, and most "defending the team" here, was to those who called our squad "average" and its almost the same team which brought us the three-peat 2 years ago "Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will. " - zig ziglarbut a constructive discussion or feedback would not cause any harm. we are all man utd fans and only want the best for the team. with all due respect, man utd have the players that CAN perform well/above-average. but they didnt. this season asyik tenggelam-timbul. most of the time their performance was average at best. hence..most of the fans acknowledge them as average players. well atleast SAF noticed that we didnt perform good at all yesterday : "I could have taken any of 10 players off because we didn't perform well." its true that most of them are the ones that help us win in the past. but the fact is they havent been playing like those time right? a knee-jerk reaction like "we need to buy lots of players" or "sack the manager" wont help us on this matter. just need to capitalize with what we got at the moment aje la. hopefully SAF know how to solves this situation. here's hoping for a lose for chelsea and arsenal (or atleast draw) |

I'm sure when Rooney return, he will do a favour to all of us by banging a lot of goals. He is still the best striker we have now. He owes to himself to get his life together whether on real life or on the pitch.
I'm not sure about Ando. He seems get all the quality to be a great playmaker for us but he is really unfortunate with injuries. Hopes he can make it in United. |

QUOTE(boxsystem @ Nov 14 2010, 07:33 PM) Well, that's the most successful Fergie's fledgling that anyone could remember. I am not sure how many knows that Ebanks-Blake was a product of our academy. Robbie Savage even. yep, weve been providing for the league, and other divisions for years now.and a large number of them are regulars at their own clubs, they might not make the grade at united but there are more then enough quality in them and a great deal of education has been given to them by us.thats no ordinary feat.QUOTE(alien2003 @ Nov 14 2010, 08:01 PM) We have bunch of former youngsters playing in BPL now. He said: 'To be honest I miss the Premier League a lot. Of course I have good memories about Manchester. I have good friends there and I miss them a lot, so you never know. 'Sir Alex Ferguson is like a second father for me. He helped me a lot during the six years I was in Manchester, he taught me many things.' Ronaldo has made a prolific start to the season in Spain's La Liga and has praised Mourinho for helping him rediscover his top form. The 25-year-old bagged 33 goals for Los Blancos last term and has already found the back of the net on 13 occasions this time around and believes the Special One has been key to his success. 'I’m playing well because I’m in a good moment, because Jose is here, because I am a father now, said Ronaldo. 'Everything has worked together so I want to carry on like this until the end of the season. 'It’s fantastic to work with Jose. He is an experienced manager. The titles he has won speak for themselves. He doesn’t do anything special, he is a discipline coach and he pays attention to all the details. It’s amazing, I’m very much enjoying working with him.' |

i think we need a consistent, top class playmaker more than we need CR. Wether it's someone currently with the team stepping up, or bringing in someone.
Its so obvious that when and if we have this playmaker, the team will suddenly appear much more consistent and formidable. Some of our 'average' players will also suddenly look like star players again. Kinda like the games this season where scholes played, and had a good game. that, and if we don't have any more key players off-form or injured. |
