There is WD TV Live Plus is the WD website but none of the shops in LYN mentioned it in their price list. Anyone using it already here?

so far, can see WDTV HD, WDTV LIVE and WDTV LIVE HUB...and also WD ELEMENTS PLAY

The Plus is the same as the Live, with specific Internet content channels like Netflix etc that is only for users in the US

so, no use to buy WDTV Live Plus in Malaysia rite?

I just bought the WD Live TV and intend to connect to my home wifi. I check the manual and everything is clear with 'wired' and 'wireless' option stated in it. But when I go into the network setting in the device no 'wireless' option in it - straight 'automatic' or 'manual' setting. I'm using Belkin N wireless adapter. So how you guys configure the wifi connection? Please help.

My firmware is 1.04.17_V

Added on May 9, 2011, 3:01 amOpps... just read the firmware update notification and there is a solution for the Belkin wifi N adapter which I just bought. So, I have to move my router upstairs and connect it to the TV and update the latest firmware. Done.. case closed!

So, if you couldn't see any 'wireless' word in the TV guide then mostly your USB wifi dongle is not supported by WD TV Live.

ALLIT still selling wdtv and wdtv live

All It just put the WDTV Live boxes on the floor. Volume seller or they want to clear stock.

How much are they clearing it for? RM199?

RM299 ..but the price tag is RM319. I'm going to stream some contents from my NAS tonight. Hope everything works fine.

Dunno mah, they say floor clearance, so I guess RM199 cos nowadays everywhere also selling WDTV live at RM299!

That All IT IKANO's premise rental must be killing them.

One major difference is the DTS downmix to stereo function in live.

DTS and internet connection (for streaming, youtube, facebook, etc).

RM299 doesn't sound like clearance to me..
It sounds like abusing the usage of the word "clearance" .

guys, i have this problem with WDTV 1.03 Firmware, it seems can boot and browsing/choosing any media film but when selected one of the favourite movie/music it's just black screen no video, audio or whatsoever, when i press "back" on WDTV remote control it goes back to main menu just like normal, what's happening actually?

My WDTV Live works wonderfully when connected via wired. Wifi N in my house not stable at all.
