QUOTE(HW-Racer @ Mar 22 2011, 10:52 PM) if im not mistaken, harvey norman is selling them for around 350. better buy at lowyat, i bought it for 299.Added on March 23, 2011, 12:59 pm QUOTE(zeese @ Mar 21 2011, 11:34 AM) Youtube HD is not legally allowed in any set top or media players. However, ive already tried B-radds firmware, but when i try to watch youtube this message came out "video is currently unavailable"you can do that by using a hacked version of firmware, B-radds firmware. is wdtv will be using a new chipset or is it another totally new product? Sighh ... This post has been edited by amir78: Mar 23 2011, 12:59 PM |

Is it because of firmware? it could be that the video has been taken off also.Added on March 23, 2011, 12:59 pm ive already tried B-radds firmware, but when i try to watch youtube this message came out "video is currently unavailable" Sighh ... Try search something else.. just type "sample 1080p" or anything.. |

i'm using the latest firmware.
normally you select the resolution + refresh rate (1080p 60Hz, 1080p 50Hz, etc), now just select auto, then auto framerate, then you're done. works fine for me |

QUOTE(sotong168 @ Mar 24 2011, 01:19 PM) depends whether your TV is able to show you that information or not.On my Samsung, it will run at 1080p 60Hz in the UI. It will then switch when you start playing your movies, tv shows, videos etc. If there is a refresh rate change, my Samsung would go blank momentarily to switch refresh rate modes, and the OSD would indicate the current mode. |

I didn't notice about such feature because that is a 1 time setting, normally you select the resolution + refresh rate (1080p 60Hz, 1080p 50Hz, etc), now just select auto, then auto framerate, then you're done. works fine for me and after that, I never really tinker it.. |

Is the video unavailable or can you still watch youtube videos on official firmware?Added on March 23, 2011, 12:59 pm ive already tried B-radds firmware, but when i try to watch youtube this message came out "video is currently unavailable" Sighh ... Try reset the player, it should generate the youtube keys If you need to watch youtube in HD by default, try setting the configuration on wdtv's webend interface. Just type the wdtvlive's ip address on browser, wdlxtv should be the default username/password |

1. WD tv live hub 1tb or WD tv live + 1tb passport essential? 2. I noticed from wd website stated that WD tv live hub HDMI 1.4 while WD tv live HDMI 1.3. what is the difference? if my cable 1.3 means cannot support WD tv live hub? |
