*
so it doesn't come wif stand?thats bad...
hmm.gif
but im kinda interested if d price is wad i expected...but any idea bout di622 markII?

hrmm. better than nothing but not good actually.
where got such thing as 580EX II being long term usage? smile.gif

how long also depends on you mah.

if your style Di622 suits, then it can last for ages.

if your style progresses further and further, even 580EX II also not enough.
*
ic...
lets say for indoor shots di622 ok or not?
n isit worth to topup to get di622mkII?

edit: my fren bought the di866 in february dis year...then for duno wad reason he saw one small crack at hotshoe...then he jz say not durable wor...n d heat make the hotshoe's crack even worse?i only rmbr las time he told me that bcz of d plastic cant tahan d heat...n d those non 3rd party one is metal one...no prob vs. heat rclxub.gif
anyway...will like to try out a nissin flash also...dun poison me wif 580EXII tongue.gif

Yeah I know. sad.gif Next year can save more liao. nod.gif

Yes, korek korek! Agree. Buy the one which suits your needs, as for me I asked people here before how's the Di622 performs, they didn't recommend me...
Then switched to Canon speedlite, was thinking 430EX II and going shopping with mengsuan is a bad choice. He kept poisoning me with his 580EX II and helped to survey around for the best price... sweat.gif
*
aiya...sooner or later u will get it also...since it is better to hv ppl scout d price for u so it is a better opportunity ma?
hehe...anyway u take any nice photos wif ur flash?
let us c ur shot wif d speedlite!
when im into flash then i will read more guides n ask d sifus here...

obviously crack is not caused by the heat. heat will melt it, but wont crack it.

btw, i have problem with the af assists beam for my di622(not accurate). mine is about 1 year old. but i've heard that the later di622 have no problem with the af assits beam.
*
wad do u mena by later di622?
d di622 mkII or d later batch of di622?

It's Tokina and not Tonika... sweat.gif

Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 and Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 VC are two different ranges lenses, how can be compared like that? smile.gif

Tokky is an Ultra Wide Angle lens whereas Tammy is Wide to Mid-zoom lens. smile.gif

550D is very light? Yeah, because it is not made by magnesium alloy body but when I attach it with my battery grip, Tammy 1750VC and 580EX II, it really carries some weights now. laugh.gif

At least those people that hold my camera said that it is heavy... To me, I'm still OK with it. smile.gif
*
Yea..agree...whn i try my 500d wif tammy1750 VC...d weight bcom nicer to me...as in more ngam d weight...bet if i attach BG n flash thn shud b ok already...tongue.gif thou dun plan to get BG n flash for d time being.

ooo... icic.... So both are different range of lenses? I heard from seller that this one Tokky can be used for full frame. Is it correct? Tokky ultra wide angle can be used for portrait photo taking right?

They said that 550D is suitable for girls. I think which is really really really suitable for u. ^^ Maybe you're right, attach the lense might be heavier. But seriously, I dont know why, the handling is so good when i hold the 50D. XD

It still goes down to individual preferences n requirement...

1. you referring to food blog or food photography blog?

2. best reference - cook books! tongue.gif or watch AFC

3. food blog photos generally not nice. there are those nice ones but they are still limited in many ways. taking nice photos for food blog doesn't mean one can actually do nice food shoot.

I'm still a newb in photography and I tested wedding photography last week at my cousin wedding...my exp is that the light won't b enough due to the ceiling is very high and I guess all wedding dinner hv diff kinda light that will affect ur shot..so it's very hard to get the right setting at tht time on the spot...plus u nd to follow both the bride n groom everywhere to shoot which is another hard task...
*
sacrifice food if u need to take photos...if take most time to eat eat eat...then miss many shots
unless work for official photographer for wedding then tats a different story
hmm...but im looking forward to shoot wedding jz for own photo keeping...any of u do so?
not official photog but still will take pictures (of cz not as frequent as official photog during tat event)
