Talking about noise, you guys should read this topic tongue.gif

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/to...707&topic=16998

I smell something fishy going on brows.gif Conspiracy to attack Canon? cool2.gif
*
lol at first I was skeptical like that guy... though now I'm loving canon more from day to day hahahaha....

always thought that yellow camp is taking picture rather good... but maybe for my taste as I experienced canon... guess I'm stuck in canon seeing that the camera's colors really matched my personality.

p.s: before anybody shoots me with something pointy... I was metaphorically speaking about the color.

noise visibility depends on your photo.

if you're concerned about the noise and such, spend some money to do test prints.

there's a huge difference between GOOD and BAD PP.
*
Need opinion on these images... is it overcooked or cook or just plain bad? Somehow I feel it abit too much of a color then again... I like colors... cry.gif

Maybe can enlighten which is normal PP and bad PP from these photos? sweat.gif

steelseries ikari laser mouse! biggrin.gif

that said, PP is entirely individual. yours looks fine, pretty much the usual S curve adjustment.

there's more to PPing that changing of colors.
*
so if I say I did change the colors... would it be that just unnoticeable? and yeah wanna explore more to a *weird color into more natural color*... sweat.gif

picture 1 and 2 were using flash but covered... so it gives a rather yellow-ish weird color.. and also some blue-ish too ._.

and thanks for the opinion really appreciate it notworthy.gif

I was so pissed off this Safari trip cos I only brought my 17-55, wished I had my longer zoom with me sad.gif
*
Dude not many have the chance to do what you did with the photo as in being in a safari ... I would say it is a nice photo just a pinch of use crop technique can give a somehow fake zoom, no?

Thanks Comradez for the advice smile.gif

I began to in love with 550D, not sure wanna sell it off for Canon 60D not. Hmmmmph. need some advice here..

thanks anyway smile.gif
*
well basically if you want to upgrade towards 60d... the main feature is that you can edit effect in the camera and LCD can flip... other than that it is basically 550d.

I could be wrong on this 1 but to my understanding so far... that is what you will benefit over 550d

A little poison from 50mm f1.2 L USM's bro, The Keg aka C85mm f1.2 L USM. The bokeh is simply sweet and juicy....

minum kopi enuf d la..well, dats what u can tell them if u dun want to be paid and yet they insist?
*
haha... thats what I tell them... just get me to the mamak and all will be settle... since they don't have much money either.. but really they are really nice family... supportive, loving and caring... I never seen a father who repeat like 10 times [lafaz nikah] while almost crying to send her daughter marrying another guy.

Though I'm not yet married or a father but that kind of feeling touched me... somehow I understand how he feels to let go her only daughter

QUOTE(goldfries @ Nov 27 2010, 09:54 PM)
if they're happy with it then just print for them la. get them to pay the printing cost enough, the rest you say give to them as gift la. smile.gif
*
haha yeah thats a good idea nod.gif

Been reading your blog goldfries.... and I find it... somehow to be very informative.. and also genuine experience. Easy say you done your homework laugh.gif

Come to think of it, my friend ajak me to shoot alongside him for his friend's wedding sweat.gif

The problem is that both of us are very new 550D owners and he's pretty confident of taking up that job as a OP, overlooking the gravity of the situation

p/s: He only has a 550D +50 lens. Not even a bag! Memory card also only 2GB WTF. His money got burnt when he bought his 550D set sweat.gif
*
Let me remind you... someone's wedding is not something to be try & error because that happens 1 time in their whole life... unless they insist...

and if they insist... remember to know which lens to use... and not sick on that day.. lighting factor too... need to consider the power of flash ... [easy say how to play with light] which I obviously... failed..used manual flash and manual settings... when light changes... everything must change... so use the auto creative ...

Can you shoot a wedding with just the 50mm? Yes you can. but good to have a wide standard zoom as well.

if he is new, shooting with just the 50mm will give him exceptional images and unlike all other p&s., a very unique perspective as long if he know how to use it.

i have shot an entire wedding as backup OP on a 50mm.
*
Well it is good to cover 2 main coverage.. and that is wide and tight shots. Wide can take group picture and atmosphere and tight can mostly take the art section moment of the bride

get the flash... it is far more important... indoor always need flash 1... no flash not that good...

unless if you're lucky enough to get constant natural lighting...
