I'm really sorry that we really can't compete with oversea price. Every country/region operates differently. One of the factor is that their volume is bigger than us. Take for a very honest example, MSI Malaysia will be very happy if we could sell 30-50 units of GT780. As for US/Europe market, consumer's buying power is higher, therefore the volume is very much bigger than us. Their volume is by thousands. So naturally their costing is cheaper. Hope this is a good explanation. It's really not that disti/dealers jack-up the price.

yeap. Do agree with this, and one of the factor the price is high because of the specs, malaysia brings in the one with bluray and ssd thus the more expensive price smile.gif

But is it durable and problem free? I meant the Bigfoot Wi-fi modem..

The problem is, there is no sign of the Bigfoot 1103 until now..

I've been seeing the status 'coming soon' from last year until now =_="

Quite frankly, the reason of us usually paying extra locally, is for the warranty, I mean, sure we can buy from other countries at a cheaper price but what if RMA comes into concern?

Some of us may think that it wouldn't be much for an issue, but for some of us, like me, I'd like to think that I'm paying a little bit extra for the peace of mind. In case My nb has a problem, i know if I RMA, i have a direct link to know what is going on with my nb and what's wrong and I don't have to pay additional costs or travel just to RMA my nb.

couldn't agree more. Unless you're confident that whenever something happens you can at least be able to fix it tongue.gif

if it's a very sensitive thing that breaks down, then you seriously gotta pray that it can be fix easily lol
