other than loading slow, everything else is running fast and fine.

thanks for the help! unfortunately, i can't stop most applications which slows down my startup. 52 apps (41.7 seconds) cannot be removed with Soluto yet... how do i stop them? i went into msconfig and only 8 programs showed there. 15 second comes from system.

my pc takes 44 seconds to boot now, but weeks ago it took less than 20..

You would need to disable it if you don't want it to run at the next restart..

Type Services.msc on start menu.

or if want other method,
Install this, for Win 7 64-bit,
http://www.mediafire.com/?qd51gnamitd

Then do defrag using the built-in from Windows
Then open command prompt as Admin, use this command

xbootmgr -trace boot -prepSystem -verboseReadyBoot

Your notebook will be reboot for 6 times, just leave it idle while restarting, then check again the boot time...
