Sometimes it could be a problem related to Windows, I couldn't explain since I'm not a very technical person, haha.. But I can tell u that most problems can be solved with a reformat rather than wasting time trying to figure out a random problem. When it's registry related or some windows system files gone, better to reformat in case the problem comes back. The key is actually located below the laptop in the battery compartment, u'll be able to see a product key there. When u reformat, everything is clean, so u could have a fresh start of the system, there's no way to blame that the problem is software related.
From there, u could narrow down to source the cause of the problem. If your bluetooth and brightness function still don't work, it could be hardware related already. However, looking at this case, it should be software related.
My brightness function, wifi on/off & bluetooth on/off are toggled via the S-bar in my GT780DX, how about yours? Maybe you should reinstall that program again? It could not be driver related.
Update : U can find out what bluetooth hardware by checking the device manager via My Computer --> System Properties --> Device Manager --> Bluetooth
Try reinstalling your System Control Manager
