Both have the same hardware specs.

Differences are bigger screen size but lower resolution on the 9810, smaller keyboard, slider form factor.

after going through the whole forum, i've found out that the Torch 9800 battery life is very short. There were ppl saying that the another battery( sun something) will be a bit longer or need carry an extra external battery charger ( energizer is recommended ). Is this true? my battery life sucks. I work at night, so i have the phone charged the whole day. when i leave to work and arrive, its down to half. By the end of the day, before i leave my work, it will be red. This is seriously a problem. What do u guys recommend? change battery or buy the external battery pack? Sure i have 3g on all the time, mostly on BBM and sometimes check FB. i dont have any applications running in the back ground.... as i know of when holding down the menu key.. other than that i dont know. Should i reformat the phone?? how do u do that by the way? thanks thanks thanks all!!!!

bb are famous for his fast drain battery more so if got apps running plus 3g, the trick is how to use it smartly, turn off 3g if not using otherwise it will drained your battery before you can say wtf! smile.gif \

if possible keep you bb/battery charged always, if not turn off 3g, this work for me.

yeah i gotta have 3g on all the time cause i have contacts from outside the country and the best way to be in touch is through bbm smile.gif

when u say keep your bb/battery charged always, meaning to have an external battery charger at all times??

Now i do not know which one to get, either an external mobile charger or the "sun battery"

My micro sim + adapter got stuck in the sim slot. Forced it out but I broke all the metal thingy down there. Can I know how much to fix it cause Brightstar quoted me RM550 and they need 20 working days!

Nope, it's pretty sturdy but the bottom part wiggles a little when it's closed.

Actually, force it to use EDGE. BlackBerries run exceptionally well with EDGE coverage, switch to 3G only when you have some large bandwidth using (Waze GPS, etc)

otherwise for text based stuffs like whatsapp, bbm, it runs just as fine. Really, because I'm running here on GPRS only and already i can do as much.
