QUOTE(Clavicus @ Nov 7 2010, 02:06 PM) I'm not sure if its your phone or your telco, although telco shouldn't be a problem, because like i said, densely populated areas should be covered by all telcos. Why don't you head to your nearest care centre and get your phone checked out by a technician? I'm planning to do the same for my Torch; can't get Youtube to work right with Maxis 3G. my torch has been well these couple of days. no more getting stuck on 3g or edge without BIS. now it picks up the BIS almost instantly. wonder if it's the reboot i did after installing some apps is installing os6 .337 from other telco safe?

Hi, I am very very very new to Blackberry. Yesterday I went to a Handphone shop thinking of upgrading my Nokia N97 mini. The seller recommended me to look into Blackberries. Of all the models I like torch the most.
For you guys that own this model, what is your opinion on this. Thanks.

Torch 9800 is not bad, but if don't like slide and touchscreen is advisable to wait for Bold 9780...

QUOTE(dicksonbell @ Nov 11 2010, 11:37 PM) Torch 9800 is not bad, but if don't like slide and touchscreen is advisable to wait for Bold 9780... I don't mind slide and touch screen, in fact I like this two functions. My main concern for Blackberry is the battery life and its user friendliness. I used Nokia all the while, so I need some confident boost to switch brand.

You cant expect perfection battery life from BlackBerry Torch... All depends on individual user itself...
