Hi, I am very very very new to Blackberry. Yesterday I went to a Handphone shop thinking of upgrading my Nokia N97 mini. The seller recommended me to look into Blackberries. Of all the models I like torch the most.
For you guys that own this model, what is your opinion on this. Thanks.

QUOTE(dicksonbell @ Nov 11 2010, 11:06 PM) Is BlackBerry not Blackberries... Make sure it is the correct one not imitation China look alike... HAHAHA, I meant the seller showed me a few BlackBerry(s), I thought the plural of Blackberry is <<Blackberries>>. Excuse me if I am wrong.

QUOTE(dicksonbell @ Nov 11 2010, 11:37 PM) Torch 9800 is not bad, but if don't like slide and touchscreen is advisable to wait for Bold 9780... I don't mind slide and touch screen, in fact I like this two functions. My main concern for Blackberry is the battery life and its user friendliness. I used Nokia all the while, so I need some confident boost to switch brand.

I am a heavy phone user that on average I will make and receive about 40 calls. Each last for about 4 minutes. I don't surf the internet often, only about 1 hour per day when I am bored. I don't use GPS only when I am in KL, that will be about 25 days in a year .
I need a good contact retriving system, good calender and organizer, easy to access calculator and maybe a good camera. Be able to acess spreadsheet and word prosseser is a definite plus.
I need my phone to be able to last for at least 18 hours everyday, and I always charge it at night when I sleep. But I never swith it off, even during charging.
Question : Is Blackberry Torch 9800 suitable for me?
Thanks in advance.
