Or juz get a cheap curve to try out bb service. If ok, can upgrade better device later, maybe torch 2. Or if u dun like it, can always sell it back wt minimal loss.

curve is always one of the best choice if you wan't to test out the blackberry services =)
For sure I will recommend Torch rather than Bold if you have the budget... In term of LCD it is very satisfying in terms of size plus touchscreen also an advantage...
Dicksonbell,
I cant help but notice you shifted from "disliking" Torch (as compared to Bold) in the first place into owning one. It must have "deeply" impact to you. Anyway thumbs up for all your replying its gave me a lot of info. I still can decide between both as it would be my first Blckberry. Need more reading! hahaha!

Yes at first impression for me I didn't like it... But after certain while I changed my mind because the Torch amazed me on something... The touchscreen it is a brilliant innovation...
for digi users what do you put for the apn? blackberry.net
I called digi cust service, lady said no need apn because torch is advance coz when I put blackberry.net cannot play videos on youtube. And if I leave apn empty certain applications cannot work? so what to do? dicksonbell to the rescue?
