bought my UA40C6200 from senheng but im having problems with it after a month and half of use. I get this weird red vertical line across my screen. Anyone encountered this before? called senheng and they said that they will call samsung.. any feedbacks on their after sales support?

I have finally got the replacement panel from samsung earlier! they way the warranty for my 6200 goes is senheng will call samsung for the parts, samsung will call you and send someone to check the TV. The guy from samsung will look into the issue and after a week of waiting, I got my replacement part at last. To say the least, I think it was a good service from senheng but the bad thing was it took a week for my panel to be replaced. Well as long as my TV works im happy with it.

Oh btw, I went to sengheng yesterday to checkout the TVs they're selling as im a big fan, I saw sharp, sony, samsung and panasonic side by side. All LED TVs and I have to say that samsung has the best picture quality. that's my opinion though! smile.gif

Appreciate the response! One more question, can the TV swivel from left and right? Planning to have this in the living room but would like it to swivel so I can dine and watch while eating on the dining table rclxms.gif

Yea, got 1 unit as I'm a MBB CC holder. My number was <100 and Samsung allowed customers to make payment earlier at 9.30am, instead of 10am.  thumbup.gif

Super jealous of you bro! do they have ready stock in KLCC or are they going to deliver it? Are they accepting installment?

No, warranty card does not come with the dealer stamping. I just register the warranty online by emailing samsung malaysia the purchase receipt, the serial number and model number. They will email you back once they process the warranty.

How long is the warranty period bro?

QUOTE(titan @ Sep 26 2016, 01:20 PM)
hi,

need an advice here. i have a budget of RM2.5K (+/-RM200). i don't really need the latest technology like HDR (briefly read through the pages) but just good enough quality for occasional movie viewing.

can anyone suggest a good model with these specs:

1. smart tv
2. UHD
3. Ideal size is 48~50

narrowed down to these:
UA50KU6000
49UH600T

appreciate your comments.

I'd go with Samsung. LG is ok but I read somewhere that the panel is not "true" 4K. The KU6000 is cheap as well so you might consider that too.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have seen all 3 with my own eyes. But without a side-by-side comparison, it is quite hard to evaluate.

Since you have put that this is a Samsung thread and would only want to discuss all thing Samsung then my questions would be:-

Samsung US55JU6000
- Does it have HDR? Can't seem to find any reference on this online
- Any motion blur when watching football via Astro HD
- Any feedback from the forumers here on this model

Thanks in advance.

Check out KU6000 series. JU is the 2015 with no HDR support. KU series should have it. The price of the KU series is good as it is Samsung's 4k TV entry level. You might want to consider that. smile.gif

Bit the bullet and bought the UA50KU6000. I'm just going to use is mainly for gaming and a lil bit of movies and Netflix in between.

Nice and congrats.. rclxms.gif  Do come back and leave your thoughts about its performance after you've spent some time with it..

Will do smile.gif I'm caught choosing between the KU6000 series and the KS7000. The advantages that KS700 has is that it supports 120hz refresh rate, wider color gamut and SUHD. In my opinion, it doesn't justify the additional rm1k so I just opted for KU6000 smile.gif

Btw, I ordered via 11street at 11pm last night. I received an email confirming my order has been sent at 5pm today but no tracking number was indicated. I called 11street and they said they will call me back. Read previous posts and saw that 11street is reliable. We shall wait and see smile.gif

Just received my UA50KU6000 today. rclxms.gif

Ordered last Wednesday at 11pm, received it today, Friday at 2pm. 11street is fast, reliable and cheapest among the online sites in terms of TV.
I haven't played around and calibrated the TV yet but played some youtube content and it was great!
