grinner, i think that's their method... bf is sweet therefore fm must b sweet too... that's y they add sugar? but y the elders like to give glucose water? till now i dun really understand... if glucose water is "cold" then y is sugar "heaty"? coz glucose is the simplified form of sugar?

before work abt 7:30-8:00am bf
10-11am pump
12:30-1:00pm bf
3-4pm pump
6-7pm bf
after 8pm i nurse to sleep n few nite feeds...

i started out wif abt 2oz wif most 3oz... then slowly before the end of my last day i got abt 5oz per pumping session combined breast the most is 6oz... so u c, u can do it~! i din take fenugreek but i make sure my stomach is not hungry... i eat 3 meals n brought snacks, healthy ones like munchy's oat biscuits n took it after pumping session...

hope this helps u too rite now i'm a SAHM i bf on demand but everytime is nurse to sleep...

doraemon, i dunno how much i weight now but definitely not preggy body a lot of ppl say i looked thin when i came back to work after the maternity leave finished... even now, hb's auntie said i looked slim when is ur wedding due? perhaps u can take healthy meals n snacks to hasten ur weight loss... n exercise definitely works

doraemon, i dun think producing less or more is connected to weight loss... correct me if i'm wrong... if u wanna increase ur supply then u have to watch wat u eat n which food helps u to produce more... like sbux said, better book a restaurant now or u won't get any place some auntie like "marry in bunny yr then get a dragon baby"

sunflower808, fenugreek seeds r... seeds lo... aka biji halba or huluba... can find them in the corner where they sell dry stuff like spice... u make the seeds into tea n drink them... or u can try barley water... phythia has a method but i totally forgot how liao... wait till she comes...

sunflower808, my boy is 5mo n still bf there's been lots of dramas n still will but i planned to bf at least 1yr or my target of 2 yrs if u're working u can pump them... get a breast pump that pumps both breast... it'll oso increase ur supply coz it tricks the body to produce more as if u're feeding twins

qarezma, i only bought breastpump after my confinement period was over (free to go out ) then immediately tried pumping... i very rajin (self-praise ) i used to bf n pump at the same time wif a manual pump which i bought when preggy... then got electric one oso the same... only at work i used double pump now bf on demand... my schedule was more or less like phythia's just the lunch hr one i went back home to bf u oso gambateh~!

just a random question, would u have to courage n strength to bf while preggy?

phythia, no la... was just wondering coz i read from the breastfeeding advocates that there's a few who bf while preggy... i wonder if i would b that strong if i were preggy...

when i was shopping today, there was a lady wif a 3mo baby on a stroller... she asked how old my baby was... that baby was wif mil n hb... i was behind them... mil asked how old was hers... both of them looked abt the same size n i asked if her baby was on fm she said she only pumped a little ebm only... then i told her abt the stuffs that i know that may work in increasing the milk supply n even got her email to send her links ... u think i'm too 38/kepoh?

EnPoiNte, u can keep the milk for 2-4 hrs at room temperature... try to let bb suck often to stimulate the supply... perhaps others will have more concrete comments for u gambateh~!
