phythia, i was wondering la... now we've temporarily moved out... i can bf whenever n wherever i want... without interference but when we move back i scared i could no longer bf

phythia, yaya abt 1-2 mths only... that's when i just started the solid food... i scared when move back then more funny funny food for bb... coz how do u tell ur in laws that u wanna prepare ur own baby's food?

qarezma, y boil the milk ar? i tot it's hard to clean the dish afterward... sorry noob in cooking... stay away permanent? kenot la... it's my parents' house, not ours... no reason to stay permanent here... my MIL is fast one >.< hope n pray i dun offend them again... sigh... later they must have think this DIL very ma fan~!

phythia, rite on abt the porridge~! last time mil mentioned abt it... i just dengar saja lo... but really i oso dunno wat to prepare for him... potato? sweet potato? carrot? apple? but one thing for sure that i could imagine... must give baby eat full... no need to bf liao... he's big liao... u can keep ur milk... y u need to cook separately? baby can eat wat we eat liao... something like that...but i still hope that this situation won't happen... cross my fingers, toes, arms, legs n eyes that my solid food journey won't b as rough as bf journey...

btw should i get an electric warmer for the food? baby cubes for storing? 1oz or 2oz? wat else i need to prepare?

doraemon, my son oso like to latch on n pull my nipple as if it's a rubberband... usually it's when he's in playful or stressful mood, he'll do that... after abt 2 mths then we're both sort of understood each other, i no longer feel pain... during the beginning of bf, i felt the same pain as urs... but managed to pull thru i must say now only teething i'm worried... he's starting to bite the nipple once in a while now... but it seems like he's in a playful mood rather than teething... but he drools a lot... mayb teething but i dun c any teeth le... i would say "painful", break the latch n give u a black face... as if he understood he dun bite again after i re-latch him... just like phythia said gambateh dear~!

mil tried to feed my son durian again when we went back for a visit sigh... first time i wiped it away wif hanky n kept say no... mil said to me "he can eat liao" n i dun wanna b disrespectful n said in my heart "so wat? that dun mean u can feed him durian " second time i got a bit aggressive n shoved her finger off his mouth while still saying no no no... hb was around n told mil that i've said no then dun give la... i dunno i should b happy or wat... but he din get his facts rite... he said i'm the one cleaning the poo so unless mil wanna clean smelly poo then dun give la... mil said poo already smelly, got nothing to do wif durian... i dunno wat will happen next... btw should i get baby cubes 1oz or 2oz or milk trays? the reason is in law's fridge freezer is always packed... so i dun want fishy smell gets into baby's puree when we move back... any suggestions?

phtyhia, qarezma, so i can take them out la... coz milk try seems really nice gadget for me i din c any description on baby cube so i tot puree frozen inside baby cube can't take out one... the annoying thing is he'll put the rubber mat which i put to prevent wetness from his lampin into his mouth... he definitely dun like flat teether... perhaps a ring teether?

today went for baby check up n boy, i'm so proud of myself the nurse kept praising me for bf my son she said i can show to everyone that my baby is a bf baby she even told the other nurses that i bf my son... they r also proud of me... coincidently, my hubby was wif me... n u can guess how proud i am... this is my sense of achievement n satisfaction to those who feels like giving up bf, DON'T! u can read thru the posts... no matter how hard, i kept going n will keep going... thanks to all the support i have here... guys, i owe it all to u~! doraemon, this is also for u... gambateh~!! man, i'm so happy!

phythia, no la... din bring it up coz baby gets injection so i was preoccupied whether he'll cry or not... furthermore the bf thing already stop i think... he told me that he forgot to ask the nurse how long should i bf... i took the chance n said "din u hear? she bf her 2 yo kid... so 2 yrs lo" he seems like giving white flag... husbands weren't suppose to follow the wife into the consultation room coz the room is too small... so only the one who carries the baby can go in n he dun wanna go in... it was just coincident that the nurse who checked my boy went into the injection room n started telling the other nurse that i bf my boy... then u know lo... all the bf topic up n keep praising n said they oso bf their own kids... man, i still feel the happiness

phythia, i think u should try give him other milk when u're around since u're his walking milk machine... if he learns that he won't get it from u he might just wean off the breast... y the decision? i look up to u as a role model

phythia, like the nurse said, it's hard to find someone who bf n somemore being a chinese so u r a rare one i've found enjoy while u can

qarezma, got ma? so far all that i know is either give fm or finds bf toooo difficult like my cousin's wife who just gave birth...

phythia, ya i think so too... but it's more to malays rather than other races i think... i was only thinking if one day disaster strikes, will bf or fm prevail?

doraemon, thanks~! i also supplement fm to baby during the first 3 mths so dun give up... that time baby kept crying n so i was labelled as no/low milk supply which i know is untrue but wat can i do? then after maternity leave over mil had to temporarily take care of baby n i scared of her handling my ebm so i asked her to give fm... even now i can't say i bf exclusively coz mil always give water to baby wif lots of excuses... as long u DO bf then it doesn't matter if u supplement wif fm...

qarezma, that's the point... no work no money... how many boss out there would allow a staff to "disappear" for pumping session? how many FTWM feels the hassle of pumping is worth it? ever since i've started bf, i've been trying to brainwash everyone who wants to bf or preggy or have baby to bf

phythia, my son is chubby rite? usually when they ask i'll say me there's this fm ad abt the son playing happy birthday song on the piano for his mum... the ad said the most important period is abt 8-9mths... there we go again...
