namqul, make sure its recorded in mono

echobrainproject: im quite sure its in mono, tried some setting in vst input or something. failed. whats the reason of this? if i know, might find some way to figure out how to fix it. thanx

Check your pan settings and monitor routing.

If all fails, open a blank session and try recording again.

solve the prob. turns out that the setting for soundcard input splits the mic and guitar in as stereo 1 for right n 1 for left is what causing them, at least that is what i think. thanx~

anyone tried the boss micro br?
especially interested in its built-in mic and how it sounds for vocals.
just as long as the recorded vocals doesnt sound like some cheap radio.

Lucky, since I don't have much time to LYN these days... and I saw this.

I'm not sure how much I can say - I have never tried either of these cards before, so I can't really comment. You'll probably get better opinions from someone who's tried both of them. But from quickly looking them up online, it looks like the Maya is more of an analog interface (4in4out analog, 1in1out[???] digital) with mic pres, apparently (?). On the other hand, the Juli@ seems to be more of a digital interface (2in2out analog, more digital I/O)... so it probably depends on your application. As the website says - "first steps in computer audio" for Maya, while for Juli@ "perfect for post-production studios ... digital mixer".

If you're looking to record things analog, you'll probably be better off with Maya, while if you're going for external ADC/DAC and listening purposes, the Juli@ may be more suitable.

As for their sound quality, I can't say at all.

That's from looking at the cards online for 5mins, so don't take my word for it =) Ask someone who's used them if you can..

no-no theres a guitar sound if i play normally without amplitube. but when i use amplitube and pick asio for the audio setup.. theres no effect sound from the amplitube. (just same normal guitar sound when not using amplitube ).

later i pick DirectX for audio setup in amplitube, they produce heardable sound effect ( with abit delay ) but a bit cranky sound too like.. bzzzzzzt bzzzt ( too annoying )

so.. i wonder if anyone cared to explain this to me? and a solution perhaps (pretty pleaseee? )

my input channel seems missing something.. where can i find it?
