i drop my n8 yesterday.. few small holes near the camera there ( luckily not the camera lens ), so up sad yesterday ..no mood online last night

was wearing headset and suddenly kick the line, then the phone slipped from my hand and drop on the cement path way

aiyooo... why soo careless??... accident accident... btw smal holes?? the cement floor so rough ah?? so the hole are dented holes? how about the paint??

Tnx. sigh..no choice, only Garmin on malfreemaps/malsingmaps still having the most updated & detail maps in M'sia, SG & Indon... Anyway, nokiamaps will definitely usefull for those going oversea. I used it extensively in China, Macau, Hong Kong & even Taiwan where there is no Garmin free mapping communities.

it's not fw update lah.. it's apps update... i cant feel the different leh...

buy one more new since n8 is worth the money and far cheaper than...ibrick.

yah the mfm having the most detail POI... so now the Garmin mostly i use offline (to check makan place) but if in serious routing i will switch to Ovi Maps as it's response faster and the road turn (estimation) more accurate...

oh...i see...i do hope they make the phone stable fast enough...today when i went out i see quite a nice morning scene outside my house..but sadly N8 with my sister...used iPhone 4 to snap, but i don think the image quality would be even at par...haha

wooiii... not yet go and buy your N8 ah?? month end liao loh...

Added on October 29, 2010, 9:32 amtested the hd video to verify the class4 memcard... 20mins video 30fps ~12.8mbps cost ~2gb all seem ok but the 30fps mod make the zoom (by volumn key) stop responding after 1+ min recording and only can zoom using tapping the screen... thinking of removing the mod...

more than agree with u..i think Ovi Maps is much more ok than Garmin...Love it!

if we use the ovi, is it like garmin or it will charged the web usage?

Hmnnn..but the last I try ovimaps, lotsa routing errors leh...Dun tell me the latest ovimaps solved the routing errors liao?

dunno, last time Nicholas try routing from Midvalley to Bangsar LRT station then makes us go to KLCC route
but i think is okay la...becaue re-routing is very fast, that time i also open Tomtom GPS in my ipad 3G also.

yes, since u so hate about symbian and just get off of it and dont need critics so much. talk about value and worth of money, iporn dont worth for its price now.
u think those iporn user really know how to use iporn? i dare to say many of them dont even know how to jail break and install application. Even a simple ringtone also dont know how to set. they just use like basic phone. Call In / Call Out / Msg In / Msg Out etc. why dont they just buy our lovely nokia3310 which fullfil their requirement? They dont know use but still keep on going to buy iporn, Why? this is their brain, need branded? WOW very cool wor got APPLE logo and Iporn so popular but among them many of them just use basic function. LIKE ppl keep Saying LVLVLV... LV very good? No, just because of the name and ppl keep thinking oh I WANT SHOW OFF. omg.. still living in kampung? pls la.. outside there is alot of branded stuff which is better.. u think your phone the best one? if you iporn can beat every terms of functions of N8, i surrender and start from today i will buy every stuff which is made by APPLE. willing to buy APPLE iporn screen protector for rm2k per piece! not phone, just screen protector only.

dunno, i observe all people use what phone in LRT everyday one

so far spot many ipod touch, iphone 4 or 3gs...some 5800 , w 995 etc... haven't spot n8 yet.

Hmnn probably Garmin version installed in this N8 making problem kua..anyway diff Garmin installed in diff platforms having diff characteristic & routing too which I can't understand till now

Let me try soon my N8 & feedback this few days.
