The lower the number the better.
The size of a camera sensor will have a big impact on the quality of your pictures. The lens gathers light and directs it towards the sensor, and the sensor records the light to create the image. Large sensor produces better images
All things being equal, a larger sensor will receive more light than a smaller one, and produce better images. This is especially important in low light photography.
When light levels are low, a smaller sensor will generate a higher amount of noise, which will decrease the quality of the images. This is why the best low-light setups include a camera with a large sensor (usually a DSLR) and a lens with a large aperture.

Hang and Dead Issue

If ever your N8 failed to boot up (mean pressing the power button but no response), do as follow:
1. Verify is it a SW hang by long press the power button >7.5 seconds to force shutdown the N8. This is for SW hang scenario 2. Plug in the charger and wait for AT LEAST 15 minutes, then try to boot up. This is for depleted battery scenario 3. Plug in the USB (connect the phone through USB to the PC), wait for a minute then un-plug the USB (repeat a few times would help), then try to boot up. This is for weird "DEAD N8" scenario
From experience, the N8 can't be Hard Reset once it's failed to boot up normally or so call "DEAD N8".

How to take great pictures for beginners

1. Learn the curve, functions of the camera inside the N8, get to understand the scene mode, flash mode, exposure, white balance, light sensitivity, contrast. 2. Then, take alot of pictures with different light sensitivity, exposure or other settings. Compare the pictures. This is basically trial and error. 3. Next, take alot of pictures with different angle, positions and distance and scenery. Try with different setting as well. Compare the pictures, and choose the best among the best 4. Finally, share the best pictures with your friends.

If want to change the level of quality fix, uninstall the previous mods then intall the prefer mods then restart. 6. For restoration, uninstall all the mods then install the "Camera Mod Restore.sis" to restore back the original camera setting.

Ok, sometime you have difficulties connecting 3G and wifi with your phone and you're opt to use desktop instead to download. Here are some tips of how to download apps using your desktop Download apps. from Ovi store using desktop browser
1. During conversation in a call, the hand free speaker suddenly when ON.(PENDING) - please ensure your face is not off the screen as this will trigger the approx sensor OFF and screen turn back active. - try to re-produce the error if it start to happen by NOT reboot or do anything, just direct make another call and try to simulate it back (report if you success to confirm the bug).
3. Default browser randomly crash and causing an auto soft reboot.(CONFIRMED) - when surfing mostly on those heavy site the browser will crash for no reason (confirm not cause by low resource). - try disable the "Java/ECMA script" might help on some heavy scripted pages.

Remember to back date your phone 1 year before installing.
To signed apps u still need your cert so make sure u complete step 1
yup... only the freesigner supply by u previously able to be install with back date the time... u must STATED to the users... DO NOT SIGN the freesigner.sis that provided by u... just download then back date the time then install the freesigner.sis....
what happen to you guys HDMI cover? cracked? can pls show?
it's NOT physical crack but rather the plastic molding mark... at first i also think it's a crack maybe by my too forceful opening the HDMI during the ranger program... but later observe deeply found it's the plastic mark and not a crack...
donno what the nokia production QA team buyoff this part from the supplier though...

the demo video show nothing... totally NOT believing it...
the top/bottom plastic sure will scratch... the screen is ULTRA strong that's why i will never put on the sp... if anyone of you do follow my trend when ur screen is totally naked, wipe it clean and look through a strong lighting like the down light u will notice the N8 screen have a diagonal grid (very fine line criss cross in diamond shape)...

bro... not yet lah it's still a new babe in the town... but already the camera/video mods already... ppl still bz messing with the N8 who knows maybe with the Angry Bird on board too bz killing...
i think got notification light at home button.. it also have breathing light.. but i just turn off..
but i think no notification light for no battery
low battery mostly come with SOUND alert eh?? not sure about this as i wont let my N8 battery fall to warning as this will decrease the battery life (or capasity)...

Got any class 10 4GB/8GB? With the image detail that N8 produce & the movies it can play,trust me you'll run out of space soon. I barely have free space with my 32GB N900.
If the price indeed dropped there will be 50+ people here going to be very unhappy
