I want to buy the Ducky from PChome lol.

@OCN_fssbzz: I already touch type. It's just the numbers and symbols that I am not familiar with. btw you can also try play.typeracer.com. It's more realistic in the sense that it gives you quotes and proper sentences. It's also fun to learn some of the quotes from movies lol.

@OCN_fssbzz: The free wrist rest that you got from buying the Ducky keyboard, is it the same as this?

When it comes to things that suit personal taste like keyboards and mouse... There isn't really a baseline on what's better than what.

Some people even prefer the feel of rubber dome keyboard than mechanical, some prefer quality over appearance, some prefer typing with sound, some prefer typing with lots of force.

So I'd suggest people to take the 'experience' part of a review with a grain of salt, it's more practical to get to know the keyboard's features and build quality through a review.

Just tried Razer BW in PIKOM fair. I must say that I'm really impressed how light is the Cherry MX Blue switch compared to rubber dome keyboard.

I think rubber dome keyboard would be like MX Black kind of force.

I decided to go with MX Blue cause I think the noise is not that bad. I like the tactile clicky feeling.

Anybody want to ship from PChome together?

I'm not really a hardcore gamer and I don't find myself needing that extra few milliseconds to double tap, so I guess Blue suits me.

I love the sound too, just afraid sometimes will disturb others.

unless you are a noob SCII player. if you APM is more then 100, i suggest NKRO tongue.gif

When do you really need NKRO for SC2?
Even for summoning (or queuing) units you will definitely control which unit comes out first and which unit comes out second.

ask diamond player, most of the diamond player just prefer NKRO in SCII.
and FYI,Diamond player cant even play well on Cherry MX Blue.

The problem with Cherry Blue for most gamers is the actuation point, it's definitely harder to get used to, and quite unecessary since they can just opt for Browns.

I think they prefer NKRO just because of namesake. NKRO is just overrated. Useful in some situations, but mostly just a luxury feature.

Does PChome use PosEkspres to deliver within Malaysia? Their website seem to link to PosEkspres tracking website.

Yea.. I got mine from PCHome... The problem is not from PCHome's side but my own... My housemate dunno I had a parcel coming in and he did not help me accept it... So the package got sent back to Post Office and I had to call in to have them intercept it coz if not the package will be return to the sender... And that would be even worst getting them to send it again to Aussie...  tongue.gif

But all in all... Am very happy with my choice...  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

Shipping was quick.... Have not regret getting it from PCHome and be patient and did not order it from the MO from Sg... tongue.gif

I see.

I thought they have a policy where only after certain amount of days before it is sent back to the sender? I'm usually not at home so I usually go to PosLaju centre to collect my goods a few days later.

And why Aussie? I thought PChome is from Taiwan.

They are from Taiwan.. But I am living in Australia now.. And the Australian Post policy is that if rejected, the items will be sent back to sender after 2 days if the receiver cannot be found... Lucky I called in yesterday and also this morning.. If not... I am sure it will be sent back to Taiwan later... And I will sure  cry.gif  cry.gif  cry.gif

You ordered from PCHome as well? Wat did you order and when did you order?
*
Yeah, ordered Ducky 9008 Cherry Blue with blank caps.

I think they send via PosEkspres here, their ordering page directs me to PosEkspres tracking code page, but the tracking code provided still not in PosEkspres database.
