Yeah man. Even if you don't replace keycaps until they wear out, you still need to remove keys to clean out the dirt from time to time.

Hm actually i am not selling any Ducky. Small Walrus is in his mo doh.gif

I did however make a suggestion that if we did our own Malaysian bulk, we can get it for a better price for Malaysian buyers.
Another interesting fact. PCB mounted switches are much easier to remove if you decide to replace old switches or do some modding to use different switches. Less sturdier than soldering method.

The alternative to pcb mounted, is the soldered kind which is sturdier but harder to remove unless your good at soldering.

i don dare to take out the key scare will spoil it..don have such skill and tool also
i only use cyberclean and i think hair dyer quite efficient to clean it..lot dust can be blw out

I'm personally more interested in Cherry Blue switches, but it would be great if I can try both Blue and Brown personally. I will most likely not like Black since I mostly type, not hardcore gaming.
*
typing preference is dependent on the user 1
i prefer no click switches
although i think mx black for long period typing is tiring
i rather mx black than blue
after i get used to mx black..even though i type on normal rubber dome keyboard will feel the click is weird..some more mx blue is tactile clicky and really noisy ^^..but haven try out any brown switches keyboard yet..but sounds good for me

i will appreciate if a new mechanical keyboard that different area of the keyboard having the switches with different actuation force..example..normal letter "fghjkl;'rtyuiop" with 45g for excellent typist purpose
wasd with 60g for fps purpose..this type of keyboard will be so damn nice

Added on October 26, 2010, 7:18 pmand it must be mx black for me..don wan any click there..just with lesser force when typing then is perfect

The ducky 9008 brown i have are all brown cherry switches EXCEPT the spacebar that uses black cherry.

Some people think that for spacebar, cherry clears and cherry blues are better. And cherry black worse.

However it doesn't really bother me much doh.gif
Besides that, i have also heard of some kbs where the numpad keys uses one type of switches, and the rest of the keyboard uses another.
But i doubt any kbs have mix switches for those specific keys you mentioned. That sort of thing you have to customize yourself i am afraid :/
*
just hope that some company will do so
because i did heard got 1 brand of keyboard with different cherry switches at different part of the keyboard
like some is mx black some is red some is blue..something like dat but i forgot the brand and it got lot different striking colour for the keyboard available

Added on October 28, 2010, 11:15 pmbut the filco palm rest really bit too expensive..but the palm rest not only can use for typing..i think can use when i do other stuff on my working desk also..should be comfortable
