No I'm never an impulse buyer Was camping in hardforum searching for a replacement for my junk keyboard

Used some IBM keyboard long time ago and it was noisy but great for speedtyping. Based on what I read cherry browns are the best allrounder keyboards but filcos and the like are very hard to get here so I went with the blues on the blackwidow instead. Besides, it was cheaper than the black 6Gv2 and I'm on a budget.

Yeah I kinda realized that blues are noisy after I ordered it... but then again I don't know of any using cherry brown keys here

Actually that korean was using a Lycosa hm ....

Ducky and Filco both have cherry brown switch options. In fact they have brown, blue or black

Steelseries is black only.

BW is blue only.

What I meant was I don't know of anyone selling it in Malaysia.

Nope. Have to order from overseas and pay for shipment. But if the total cost is lower or about the same as buying something locally, why not ?

Malaysia market kinda sucks, so we have to import overseas to get the good stuff :/

i want to try brown, blue and black switches before making any purchases regarding mech boards.

Mr interface from Geekhacks is building a switch board that has many different switches on it.

It's for people to test which switch they prefer. All you have to do is pay for shipping to the next person

i will appreciate if a new mechanical keyboard that different area of the keyboard having the switches with different actuation force..example..normal letter "fghjkl;'rtyuiop" with 45g for excellent typist purpose
wasd with 60g for fps purpose..this type of keyboard will be so damn nice

and as we know it, shipping fees is win.

The ducky 9008 brown i have are all brown cherry switches EXCEPT the spacebar that uses black cherry.

Some people think that for spacebar, cherry clears and cherry blues are better. And cherry black worse.

However it doesn't really bother me much


Besides that, i have also heard of some kbs where the numpad keys uses one type of switches, and the rest of the keyboard uses another.


But i doubt any kbs have mix switches for those specific keys you mentioned. That sort of thing you have to customize yourself i am afraid :/

because i did heard got 1 brand of keyboard with different cherry switches at different part of the keyboard
like some is mx black some is red some is blue..something like dat but i forgot the brand and it got lot different striking colour for the keyboard available

By the way if anyone wants to do a Filco Majestouch NKRO (blue or brown only) MO, i know who you should ask about this

Just let me know and i can forward you to the respective contact. The price would be roughly same as the Ducky 9008 should you import to Malaysia.

Diatec sells these Filcos. The closest distributor for it is the SG distributor

but if we directly from import from taiwan is it faster and more efficient??
