Hmmm.... i've flashed my ori SGS set to the Nordic Froyo XWJP6 fw using the KIES registry edit method. How do i change back to the Asian Froyo once it comes out next week eh?  blush.gif

Edit back the registry to previous value. Below is mine.. You need to change the IMEI no to yours.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Samsung\Kies\DeviceDB\4]
"SoftwareRevision"="I9000DXJG4/I9000OLBJG4/I9000DXJG4/I9000DXJG4"
"ProductCode"="GT-I9000HKAXME"
"HIDSWVER"="I9000DXJG4/I9000OLBJG4/I9000DXJG4/I9000DXJG4"
"DEVCONINFO"=" MN(GT-I9000);VER(I9000DXJG4/I9000OLBJG4/I9000DXJG4/I9000DXJG4);HIDVER(I9000DXJG4/I9000OLBJG4/I9000DXJG4/I9000DXJG4);PRD(GT-I9000HKAXME);SN();IMEI(351751041311765);PN( );CON(AT,MTP);LOCK(FALSE)
#OK#

OK
"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Samsung\Kies\]
"LocalVer"="1.5.3.10103.100"

Hi guyz, I plan to flash to Doc's JPO 7.5, but a few thing i am still not clear.

Except those thing in the instructions that i need to backup, my own apps and data. what else I should back up? i heard that I need to backup my IMEI in case corrupted. But how to backup IMEI? what about product code/csc?

Hi fellow galaxians. I am quite new to this forum but not new to SGS, got mine a month ago nod.gif

Been "leeching" advises and info so far about root, fw, lagfixes etc. from xda, other gal s forums ..not nice la, if I can, want to contribute also, too bad quite android-illiterate still...

Anyway, I was on stock fw + voodoo 4, now removed voodoo, pure stock jg4..noticed that I put everything in RAM (press home key instead of back), phone quite responsive also haha, odd.

Gonna try that with official froyo too without voodoo see how.

P/s : Oh you guys should have Watchdog to monitor apps you install. Found and deleted some gangster app that kills battery.. icon_idea.gif
