I've tried NSFU, works great. Tried SIms as well but because of lack of multitouch, camera rotation isn't possible. It seems that non-EA games are still having issues, but hopefully these will be ironed out as this is only the first beta of the emulator. Its great that it installs an icon which is accessible at will within maemo now and makes it an ease to launch just like a native app,

Edit : I'm using the same wallpaper too, hehe, but reworked the colours to green/black/yellow,

and now..i can feel the speed is getting slow and getting lag when i open 5multitasking and above..(3web 1conversation 1app mng)it's time to oc now..good luck to me bro..is aout to oc it to 800mhz. hope it wont drain my battery 99

guys since like my microb is acting up. it cant seem to download things and stuck at 0% all the time.

i tried downloading angry birds from ovi, firefox from mozilla.com/m but it stuck at 0% all the time.

may i know what went wrong?

hmmm i need helps from sifu here,
when i open any apps or the conversations,
there is a line of orange across the X (close),

but on the homescreen
the orange did not appeared,
any suggestion?

you prolly need to OC to 1500mhz for fennec to be smooth...

we N900 users...

we dont have apps for our own platform...

always have to run emulators, dual boot, hack, chop and mash up apps from other devices and platforms...

its like we are trying our best to revive our phones by salvaging leftovers from other devices...

how do u mean super??? whats the error msg??  do u have motoX installed?? i had an issue with that being a conflict becacause it uses a different sdl library. uninstalling it allowed me to install preenv.

i think you didn't do the chmod line in the tuto, i had the same issue, after install preenv, and the game data folder, in xterm u need to change directory to the folder with the game file inside and chmod it

type:

chmod +rwx nfsuc

then try running it . which version of the game do u have???? v.48 doesn't work, only v.28 and v.29

ahhh i think i figured out your problem. its with unzipping the ipk. when u unzip the ipk u get a folder called 'com.ea.blah blah blah' inside there will be the control.tar.gz and data.tar.gz Forget the control.tar.gz  U need to unzip the data.tar.gz and it will result in a data.tar unzip that bugger and you will get a data and usr folder. look inside usr/palm/applications/ and there should be another folder called 'com.ea.app.nfsuc' this is the folder u need to transfer to ur n900 /home/user/applications/folder.

hmmm, sorry wasn't belittling ur intelligence bro, errrr  only thing i can think off is that the files may not have transferred properly. whats the error msg when trying to launch from xterm??

must manually place an image file with name 'avatar.jpg' but need to wait for super as different convo mods place the file in diff places, afaik.
