bro~ from 1st page~ it says this~

"Step 1 Access your root using winscp (See network FAQS) or cute explorer
Step 2 Download any (link below) and rename video to n900.avi
Step 3 Copy the video to /usr/share/hildon-welcome/media
Step 4 Go to /etc/hildon-welcome.d/ and edit the default.conf file with leafpad (or something like that)
Your default.conf should be looking like this:
[hildon-welcome]
filename=n900.avi"

but thing is~ i am using filebox to open that default.conf file in Notes, edit n try to save it~ but it says "files for read only"~
how to enable it for editing?

N8 froze for about 4 mins...  when try to switch off bluetooth...

the bluetooth dialog box stuck on screen...

had to press pwr btn and hold 8 secs... goes off

only can turn back on when hooked to charger...

dunno low batt issue or bug

since firmware first version i guess can expect bugs...

meanwhile this kinda looks better than meego sigh

Camera and image browsing has less “chop” and stuttering. Feels much more fluid.

Delay added to screen unlocking during alarm or phone call. Reduces unwanted input.

I heard it on the investment radio today Nokia already have the Nokia N8 = 5 years ago but they was market share last time didnt expect android and apple to catch up so fast.
Thats why the CEO was fired. When they launch Nokia N8 its too late already.

nah i just played with it for a while last night.

tell you the truth, i dont see anything except the camera.

it looks like N8 was never meant to be the flagship.

i had better feeling of a flagship device when i held Nokia N95 8GB

same goes for N97 and N900.. feels like flagship.

but N8 does not convey that feeling.

it looks and feels like a gap filler, a temporary solution to save symbian and take the megapixel crown for a while.

convert your video using iphone mp4 settings...use an application on PC called "handbrake" to convert the files

yes..but i managed to get it working suddenly..then,tried again, it doesnt work anymore..looks like bug..it seems that the default driver has the ability to penetrate, bruteforcing and capturing wep/wpa passkey with non-client router/pc...but it took like the whole night to collect enough #data packet..but i think it just some bugs..

problem is even the wifi driver is open, backtrack team is having problem patching it..have yet to install neopwn..didnt have much time...
