QUOTE(mashimarow @ Oct 23 2010, 02:17 PM) and 2 phone all damaged due to unknown reason, not by OC... I know Eiraku's N900 is Comsat set but don't know about the second 1.I think it's Zitron set.seems like N900 got some defective product mixed inside, not sure, both 2 is AP phone or Nokia shop phone I still think Eiraku's phone damage caused by OC'ing with too low voltage.Lopping at boot in desktop computers sometimes caused by damaged CPU.I think same thing happened to his N900. The 2nd N900 has touchscreen problem.Totally unrelated to OC. |

QUOTE(firstknight @ Oct 23 2010, 02:32 PM) Ori or AP?If ori maybe you should have asked for replacement phone.Anything more than 1 month is considered as too long. Anyway if I'm mistaken the repair for micro USB is quite simple. The technician will have to clean up the existing solder residue & solder new micro USB port.Probably will take 1 hour max. |

QUOTE(N900user @ Oct 24 2010, 12:27 AM) anyone try the nidroid? i don have the file of "MyDocs".. hence I failed in step 3. Anyone can assist me? Any comments for this Nitdroid? Was busy restoring my N900 to virgin mode. Like hengguowei said,MyDocs is the folder that popup once you connect your N900 to computer. Just save the file there & proceed with the installer. I'll be reinstalling NITDroid later today.I'll check whether the ext3 formatting has been fixed or not.If it's fixed others can just use the complete auto installer instead of half manual/half auto installer that I use. Added on October 24, 2010, 1:11 amVirgin mode damn nice...Everything is super fast with stock clock speed. This post has been edited by super_evil_alien: Oct 24 2010, 01:11 AM |

You don't have to rub in my face you know...
I think I'll get iPod Touch 4 by end of this year.No choice since seems like most of the games & apps comes to iOS 1st.Definitely I'll jailbreak it. |

QUOTE(jananan @ Oct 24 2010, 06:32 AM) tried angry birds on my friend's N8. I'll wait see how things goes with developers and symbian.virtually indistinguishable from iphone. you should get N8 or any of the newer symbian^3 with 3D GPU accel and multi-touch. i am sure most iOS games will be ported to Symbian^3 soon, due to multitouch support available. don't go to the dark side... QUOTE(ccgenius @ Oct 24 2010, 11:41 AM) I can.Too bad I can't shoe it since I formatted my microSD My thought on latest MeeGo latest built, I was very disappointed after testing yesterdays image. The whole OS felt very laggy plus opening some basic app like dialer take so long.Booting time also take some time. The laggyness could be caused improper SGX driver.Since I was using only class 4 microSD card the whole lag become too much apparent. Today is another day & hopefully things improves. Back to Maemo, After using all red/green/orange theme I've settled for blue theme. Still bunch of things to do before my phone is restored to it's proper state. @N900rocks I just installed Sygic 10 & it's working fine.Check back your steps. |

QUOTE(gyianz @ Oct 24 2010, 12:42 PM) Maybe wait for the PR1.3.. Thats when MeeGo is an official build and a stable image soon to be released (according to my cousin in Intel). The one I've been testing are the release candidates. It should be close to the actual v1.1.In PR1.3 you will have an official dual-boot between meego and maemo. Guess it would be a tri-boot then when PR1.3 is released.. p/s: GOSH i cant believe im away for a month and v7 already.. didnt even have time to read v6 But yeah, the final product could be different. QUOTE(jananan @ Oct 24 2010, 01:15 PM) Somehow I prefer FCams colour. It look more natural too me.![]() MeeGo using unrecognized file format by Maemo ![]() After months I still cannot figure out how to move the extra 3 phone shortcut to folder Anyone have idea? |

QUOTE(N900rocks @ Oct 24 2010, 02:11 PM) 5. Copy modifica.pl to N900 Use WinSCP to make life easier.6. Run X-Terminal and write: Code: sudo gainroot cd /home/user/MyDocs perl modifica.pl am i copied the wrong modifica.pl to the document?? i saw it's only one modifica,pl after i dl all the files. i put it in the document, x-term said not found. so i straight away leave it on the file manager...then it said pattern not found: maybe wrong file or the patch dont work or already patched file Added on October 24, 2010, 2:15 pmsomebody help me....feels like dying.== Anyway use pm if you want to talk about this issue further. No talking about patches here. @meLi I know where the .desktop files are.I intentionally put 2 additional phone shortcut there so I can have phone shortcut in my all 4 desktop. However when I use appmefo to move shortcut to folder the app recognize 4 shortcut as 1 & refuse to move the extra 3 shortcuts. Added on October 24, 2010, 2:32 pm QUOTE(jananan @ Oct 24 2010, 02:23 PM) meego-x86 is using btrfs filesystem. I thought MeeGo-ARM will use a Maemo recognizable file format since maybe some people want to access files from MeeGo to Maemo or vice versa.btrfs is a very safe filesystem, safe as in it is not easily corruptable. meego-arm i am not sure what filesystem it uses... Guess I'm wrong. This post has been edited by super_evil_alien: Oct 24 2010, 02:32 PM |

QUOTE(mashimarow @ Oct 24 2010, 05:39 PM) Either grandmaster Aspire is in a bad mood to tell someone to downgrade or he is in a high mood tell such funny joke It's a fact.Only way to get the "more" thing is by downgrading to PR 1.1But be warned that you will lose the cellular function. If you still want a functioning PR 1.1 then you have to flash PR 1.2 cellulars function into PR 1.1 |
