hmm.. i do have C1. and the picture, i think, it is zeta plus A1 hmm.gif on dalong, http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m43/mg43_p.htm i think the different beside their colours is the C1 come with long bazooka (lol, i like looong rifle/bazooka laugh.gif )
I'm a snapfitted+marker (little only)+lining also. because it is quite old model, the frame is not like the newer one. the attachment is different a bit. when u remove it from the frame, there a likely chances that it may leave big 'scar' to your frame. mostly are not really noticed. so, the sanding part will be very hard for this model. the joint are hard as they are transformed units. not really hard to transformed (compared to EX[s] sweat.gif )

MG 1/100 Wing Gundam EW Ver. (Release Date: Mar. 2011, Price: 3500 Yen)

Looks like Bandai's going all out on the EW series this year. If the pace keeps up, we'll probably have the whole cast by the end of 2011.

I'm wondering the same thing. Perhaps there's some difference in the materials used?  hmm.gif

This Metal Build is using POM. I'm not sure if its used in other model/kits.

looks like Aile Strike is indeed the more popular gundam after RX-78-2.. rclxms.gif but the price shd be almost that of its MG or is it? tongue.gif

btw, planning to buy this kit..

is this a good kit? i want it coz i'm big fan of Amuro the pilot & this is is his only MS which i don't have.. tongue.gif
plus the only format this mobile suit has is this MG (save for the crappy SD version = =wink.gif..
anyone has built this kit, mind to share what u think of this kit? (i only do snapfit & marker.. pretty much what ngeekhiong did to his kits, if that'll help  blush.gif )

The Amuro one is the A1, not the C1.

I don't have the kit but from various reviews it seems that its joints aren't the most steady ones around since it's a pretty old kit and also the transforming mechanism. The A1 is pretty basic with only a shield, sabres, and a standard rifle; the C1 has a more badass smart cannon although it will have weight issues. The dull grey colour is also an acquired taste compared to the tomato-red/white combo of the A1.

Strictly speaking, the A1 isn't exactly an Amuro suit since there's no official in-universe records that Amuro piloted it. But really, who cares.

yeah. the colors are really.. shakehead.gif (tomato-red lol doh.gif )
but bandai are clever enough to produce this kit with the 'A' insignia.. so die-hards like me will have no choice.. tongue.gif

yeah, to be honest, the long bazooka makes me buy it immediately after i know a seller just stock it (without thinking my money doh.gif). when C1 transformed, it looks better, more like a long spaceship (i dunno how to explain well, but it looks better/realistic compared to A1 IMHO)+ the colour is good too laugh.gif (and i like it better in that form rather than gundam mode)
well, since i'm not really anime fans (exceptional: EW, wing), i usually buy first b4 i read about that kits sweat.gif

well for me i think this is the best design zeta transforming gundam. Is best buy the C1 version because their improve their locking mechanism on the crotch better than A1 version + it also have more accessory than the A1 .

poison you with my previous C1 build.
