didnt notice any problem with my notebook lately, mostly because i m busy playing Dragon Age 2. i've been trying to play it as slow as i can.. coz i wanna wait for Catalyst 11.3 which still not release.

i save game very often, if i made a decision which i regret, i ll load game and play again... i have more than 700 save files now! that save folder is 652MB now...

what kind of problem you have with your notebook?

during OC with highest setting, just running the Final Fantasy Benchmark (may be like just 10 minutes?) made my notebook burn:

Max CPU: 85
Max GPU: 87

Next time, if i must OC to play game, I will buy a cooler... it will help.

Anyway, I do think 5650 should OC better than nVidia 540M... the Optimus also has problem if you want to use Linux... and it also should use more power than ATI switchable technology because when you use nVidia graphic, the Intel graphic must be running as well...

does this 2 notebook 3820TG & 4820TG have build in battery? or the battery can take off?

both can take out, not build in battery

really cant wait for Catalyst 11.3... i have just completed Dragon Age 2... although i was trying to play it as slow as i can... although i only completed using Rogue... i usually will not repeat a game with story this long... somehow, i guess Dragon Age 1 is a little more challenging and a little more option and more endings nevertheless, this is a great game.

u so free? in my whole life i just finished need of speed underground nia.. the 1st ever game i complete all the mission w/o cheated. use manual hahahaha.. recently no time play games... the problem i face is the noisy fan only..

do u guys face problem with the audio driver? I used to plug in my subwoofer to play games/music/movie. Sometimes when I was playing NFS Most Wanted, the sound suddenly increase to maximum and boomed my house with car engines noise. However after sometime, the sound decrease to minimum and I can't even hear anything.

Should I uninstall the realtek?

I guess uninstall it and use the Windows default driver...

starcraft 2 u play in ultra settings gt lag? average fps hw much?

hello everyone, been using my 3820TG for about 2 month now and so far, i'm really impress with it best thing about it is the heat management. The max temp i got while gaming for hours for the CPU and GPU is 70c and 82c, and that is without using a cooler. Even when I OC to 680/1000, the GPU temp only went up around 1-3c. Anyway, got a question here...I tried hooking it up to 42" tv through HDMI and I found out that there'll be no signal if it is on the Intel GMA, is that normal?

When I was using stock driver, I can only play at High setting and in heavy attacks, I am getting only 35-40 FPS:

However, after updated the graphic driver to Catalyst 11.2, and setting AI to Performance / Advanced, i got huge FPS gain:

Now, can play at Extreme (higher than Ultra) with 40 FPS in normal game. But I am still using only Ultra because during major push Extreme got lag...

my laptop so new where got dust.. i protect it like my baby.. u know how much dote i gave to my lappy? hahahaha anyway i goin to vacuum again.. but my vacuum cleaner still under repair... u said 11.3 is out? got any different? i heard for new card only.. nothing related to 5650..

The no signal is normal, you need to switch to ATi..
